Kohaku then found the hand seals that were required to perform the jutsu. The young Raigyo practiced the hand seals slowly, progressively getting faster and faster until the motions were natural. Soon, Kohaku found that he would be getting dark circles under his eyes after performing the technique, making him look sleep deprived. It honestly unnerved the boy but he needed to know this technique first. He sighed and read up on the uses made by the ancient Kazekage. [Yondaime Kazekage's Gold Dust 4/8]
The old Kazekage used the gold dust particles to neutralize the One-Tailed beast when it went on a rampage, given it's heavier weight. Kohaku nodded, seeing this as a viable way to use the technique, but he also studied the beast, turning the way it controlled the sand into techniques. Kohaku continued reading a bit before standing up. He performed the hand seals and closed his eyes. The dark circles beneath his eyes formed like the scroll had said they would. When Kohaku opened his eyes he felt... slower. [Yondaime Kazekage's Gold Dust 6/8]
He could feel the magnetic energy in the air, feeling the tiny bits of gold in the iron sand well he had created. All he had to do was reach down and pull the particles out. Kohaku did that, pulling up the gold sand from deep within the well and was surprised to see that he had enough to form a solid sphere, the size of a bowling ball. [Yondaime Kazekage's Gold Dust 7/8]
Like with the iron sand, Kohaku played with the gold dust, making shapes like stars, pyramids and cylinders. He walked to a more open space for testing purposes and smashed the ball of gold dust on the ground. When the particles of gold scattered everywhere, Kohaku pulled all of it back towards him to make a sphere, pleased with how fast it formed. [Yondaime Kazekage's Gold Dust 8/8 learned!]
Kohaku returned the gold dust to the ground, in the iron sand and ended the jutsu. His eyes lost the dark circles and the boy stretched. He was debating on taking a break or continuing his training. Kaori looked at Theodin and blinked, she hadn’t been expecting to be sent on a ramen run when Ayame had sent her back to the Academy to see her clone. But what the Kazekage wanted, she got, and she’d heard rumors of how eclectic Sanshi was in his training. She shrugged,
“I’m as ready as I think I can be right now.” There was nothing more she could learn, jutsu wise, and she’d like to train with Knives before she finished her Taijutsu, call her sentimental. She’d do her best in this test, whatever it was. Nova butted her head against Theodin’s hip hard enough to knock most people over.“We are ready.”Nova was always more confident than Kaori, at least outside of battle. In battle they were equally blood thirsty.

He smiled a little bit before standing up and pulling out a shuriken. He was reading through the scroll about an older shinobi named Toroi who magnetized his shuriken to make his iron sand follow it. Kohaku put the same magnetic energy into his shuriken, threw it and threw a kunai, watching it follow it. [Toroi's Magnetic Shuriken 1/1 learned!]
Retrieving the Kunai and shuriken, Kohaku returned to the iron sand well he had created. He looked at the scroll and resumed his reading on the clan techniques. The next one was relatively simple and easy to perform. [Hagane Dama [ Iron Bullet ] 1/3]

Kohaku frowned. He had successfully hit the dummy but not where he was aiming. He pointed again, adjusting for where he hit to where he was aiming. Kohaku walked to an attacking dummy and stood before it, activating the mannequin. He outstretched his hand and the iron pole it was using as a weapon swung. Doubling over in pain, Kohaku, heard the mannequin wind up and getting ready to swing again. A sudden rush of air, Kohaku raised his hand up, exerting the magnetic energy present and repelling the attack. The dummy's attack seemed to hover there for a minute before the dummy deactivated. The next technique would be simple. Kohaku sat down, curling up slightly as he continued to read the scroll. There was a clone technique that made his iron sand turn into a replica of himself. Even better, the clone was malleable. [Hagane Bunshin no Jutsu [ Iron Clone Technique ] 1/3]
The boy stood up and formed the needed handseals. From there, he gathered the iron sand into a replica of himself. The clone was pretty stable for being made of iron sand and it was compact. A solid clone and completely malleable. [Hagane Bunshin no Jutsu [ Iron Clone Technique ] 2/3]
The clone moved around, threw a couple playful punches before turning to Kohaku. The boy hit the clones sturnum with a punch and cried out. It hurt but that was good. "This is a solid technique." "Just come with me to the shopping superdome and we're supposed to order up some new training dummies for the dojo and the academy, Kage-sama gave me enough ryo so we could even buy the good dummies that make taijutsu and bukijutsu training a lot easier.
