Reaver won't kill you unless you're defeated but don't give in or he'll get disqualified which I doubt he wants.

There are 3 factors determing if I join in the tournament:
1-if my joke gets accepted
2-how much spare time I have (to train it)
3-if I can see the bracket set up

1. Jokes accepted
2. There's enough time for you to be a filler but not a serious contender
3. Bracket won't be up til the sign in sheet closes

GreenTigerr Reaver won't kill you unless you're defeated but don't give in or he'll get disqualified which I doubt he wants. Reaver will abide by whatever the rules are, but if someone dies because they dive into his attack or something. It would be a suicide, and as such, not his fault. xd

I'd say Nyx is a contender, you should be able to defeat about 60% of the entrees without much issues.
But I'd bet that Nyx falls in the Semi-Finals.
