Kat stood leaning against a piller just outside the door way, watchign the struggle. She noticed that the Woman was usign her staff some how. She wondered what in the world it could do. Her eyes widened a little as she say a red glow form around the large creatures. How interesting...

It was a funny little thought. Malik had no family of his own anymore, and Piper had family on both sides that went back to grandparents still but she was estranged from them. If Kieran hadn't of popped up it could of been assumed that her family was long gone as well. "Well...if we do have one...and if you really want them there...then they will be. I just...I just don't want them to act negatively just because you're not surface born." If she ever really stopped to think about it, she would understand that probably the shock of her being alive would override anything else. But as per ususal as he kissed her she let her thoughts go slightly, and took to thinking on him. She knew that kiss, and the moment she let that one drug her, the fight would all be over really. Her hands settled on his shoulders, gripping slightly, as she kissed him back...it lacked equal fervor but it was better than her shying away or turning him down right? After all...she was still working Kaden out of her system, jsut better than she had been before. Not to mention she knew Malik could make Kaden simply go away. Well...at least his back or shoulders would be spared from getting scratched up.

With the help of Aella's staff, then the river's flow was split cleanly in half. One flowed black, the other white. Moonstone struggled through the whole tihng. He didn't want half a heart, he wanted the full thing! But no, his heart slowed, until there was one beat instead of two. A lub, but no dub. Moonstone grew more angry as the process finished. He bet his brother felt the elation of victory, while he only felt the sting of defeat. It did not occure to him that he was still feeling.
He continued to fight with his brother, even after the...transaction was complete.

Malik smiled, and laid her back on the bed. he gave her everything she loved about it when it was just them, he was genlte, considerate, loving, caring. He did his best to wash away kaden, to drown him out of her.
Onyx got what he wanted, and felt his heart beat again, though Moonstone continued to fight with him even after it was done, and with a small grin, now that he coudl get teh adernaline rush agian..and flipped himself on his back, moon on top, adn flung him over wit that same momentum so he landed at Kat's feet.
"There...now we both can feel. is it really that bad?"

Moonstone growled, refusing to be cooperative about this. "Yes, it is that bad." He put a hand to his chest. "Half a heart. what does that make me? Half a vah." He sneered. "I would rather be one or the other, than be half."
He gave Kat a rather hateful look. He might have gotten away if she hadn't tripped him up. Moonstone had just made himself an enemy. Fur on end, shoulders slightly hunched and fists clenched, Moon stompd back inside the house.
Aella bent down beside Onyx, a concerned look on her face. "You;d think he would be a little more...grateful." She shrugged. "But then again, I don't read people very well." She realized how that statment could easily work against her. She cleared her throat. "Most people."

It seemed that the more she gave into things she was relucant to do, the better she felt. Healing processes were like that though, weren't they? Had to give into something before you could get over it. Crying cleaned her of half the worries, the passion between her and Malik washed away the rest. Now clothes lay in a pile on the floor next to the bed along with boots, belts, and anything else that they had been wearing, save for Piper's collar and ring, and Malvolence which got to it's stand. Now she easily rested against him in his hold, holding quite the sated look about her, gold in her eyes still holding a spark as they usually did. Indeed she felt at ease as her fingers played along Malik's chest, tracing muscles as well as the scar there. Kaden who? "I love you." A kiss to his collar bone, nuzzling up against him. Well...that had certinally been an enjoyable span of time, hadn't it?

A panal in the wall slide aside in the Malik and Piper's room. Jaun and Jell crawled out, both with quite serious experssions on their face, and both looking...a little sooty.
"I'm still not happy with the root through the kitchen. The smoke stack, however fun, is still dangerous. I Can't feel pain but I don't like burnt skin."
"I agree, but the kitchen is mostly cinderblock. We simply can't get through that stuff without it getting too noticable."
"All right, all right. We'll survive that one. Did you get that one in the northwest stairway done?"
"yeah. It's tight at the end, but it's good and done. Did you get..."
They continued talking back and forth, walking right across the floor, ignoring the two on the bed, to the door.

Kat looked at moonstone but said nothing as he walked past her. She knew he didn't liek her, that meant she was goign to be around him as much as possible. As much as Kat liked him, she loved bothering people as well. And since she liked Moon all th ebetter she thought. She followed him inside.
"Half a heart not good enough for you Moonstone?" She said mockingly, oh man she hoped he started te yell, that was always a riot.

Moonstone growled at the girl. great, now that she was following him, he couldn't go to his room. Not like he had any belongings there or anything, he just didn't want her to know where it was.
"No. Half a heart isn't good enough." He glared at her. "How about I slice off half of your heart, and see how you like it, mm?" Nope. Not in the best of moods at all.

The hooded man was veritabley skipping with pervers joy. "No one loves an Oracle," he taunted in a sing song voice. He titled up Warren's chin, and the young wizard was forced to look into the the folds of the hood. "No one cares about a wizzard." He taunted once more. Roughly, he yanked Warren's head to the side, where he could just see a wide, shallow basin filled with what looked like water. "And no one misses a child."
He laughed, "oh yes." The three phrases, chanted over and over, rang through the room, clogged Warren's ears, until it seemed there was nothing..nothing at all...except a voice...telling him...to...do...something....

Kat was not put off in the slightest, in fact she was enjoying herself.
"Oh? My heart is not really the issue here, you didn't have a heart to begin with. Just because you don't have one means it is fair to take your brother's? If you want it so bad take half of mine, since you obviously have no care for others. At least you have some feeligns and they are not so overbearing that you can't stand it, or can't control yourself."
She said this all very matter of factly.

He stopped in his tracks, looking back at her with an evil stare. "My brother gave it to me. We switched. Willingly." He growled, lifting up the side of his lip and showing a fang. "Don't you dare lecture me. I've been through too much just to be undermind by some punk kid who thinks she's better then her parents just because. You want to do a vah favor? Go talk to a wall. You'll get more symphathy out of it, then you will out of me." he turned tail and continued on his way.

"Ha! Better than my parents thats rich." she continued to follow him. "I'm afriad a wall isn't half as intersting as you Moonstone." She looked up a moment, as if she were in a casual conversation. "You know I never considered myself a punk, artisticly expressive maybe, but not punk." She tried hard not to chuckye to herself. "Oh wow I never asked for sympathy, and i wasn't lecturing mearly.. pointing something out." She thought to herself. No she didn't want sympathy, she laughed softly to herself. She knew what she wanted, she was only incapable of gettint it.

That is a lecture. However you think you see it, it is a lecture. The motive of said lecture is to somehow make me see some great wrong that I have done, and it took your wonderful epiphany to make me see it."
He walked through the dinning room, but damn it, he kept following him! Obviously, she didn't know the meaning of personal space.
"Here is what I am going to 'mearly point out for you.' You are annoying. You are also following me. Stop it."

"Point taken. The don't turn around nad lecture me on my parents. I don;t think I'm better than them 'juct because" I don't think I'm better than anybody. I don't need epiphanies from you either" She almost smiled to herself, almost.
"So it seems we have both made missjudgments on the other's characters." She still followed. "And yes I'm being annoying I di it for kicks" She continued to follow she didn;t stop.
