I am still trying to figure out why there are not 13 months... it seems like the most logical way to go. 13 months in a year, 28 days in a month (one month would have 29 days plus leap year would still be every 4 years), weeks would still be 7 days and 24 hours etc... however also note that every month would be exactly four weeks. At one point in my life i devoted a lot of thought to this and I think I even wrote a research paper on it... *shrugs* it jut seems to make so much more sense to me...

It's the Brittish with their miles and stones and yards.
Seconds/Minutes/Hours seem equally pointless to me. Why 60? Why not 100?

heh... there are many times when i wonder how such filthy beings as humans could have been born from an energy as awesome as chaos, but it is times like these when they lend at least a chaos born laugh or two that i dont mind being related in energy to them... at least on a realy really small point...

I don't understand your hatred of humankind. About ten percent of them are f-cking things up for all the life on the planet, but that 90% works aggreivously hard for enough money to feed their families, and manage to survive in sub-poverty conditions.
Your little burgeoise butt has no right to complain. Especially over the internet, for gods' sakes. (Note the plural)

You also live in a mansion with a pool and have multiple video game consoles. You don't work to support yourself, you work for extra pocket money. Proletariat you ain't.

The simple fact that you -HAVE- a car puts you ahead of 90% of the Earth's population. Nevermind having a stable electrical system, or access to the internet. Friend, we're the people benefitting from the poverty of the world. Yes, there are people above us on the social ladder. No, we didn't set up the system. But this is how things are.

Being burgeouise ISN'T a bad thing. It'd be nice if we could help the rediculously impoverished masses... but then we wouldn't have all this snazzy, shiny stuff. It's not a case of "everyone can be equally wealthy," it's a case of "everyone could be equally poor." That's why they call economics "The Depressing Science."

We never should have had the neolithic revolution. It was a bad idea.

And, I've officially decided to quit the RP
