Gin Nova I'm not sure if I'm even going to bother seeing it. Goblet of Fire was such a disappointment, I'd hate to see how badly they butchered OoTP. They shortened it for the sake of the audience. That was their first mistake. And until everyone here sees it, I can't rant. Someone PM me if you want to know why I Grr'ed and I argh'ed.

*pokes the Spam Fest randomly*
Well, I've heard pretty good things about it so far... But I agree that it was a mistake to make it so short. It's the longest book for crying out loud...

Fully agreed. >.< I'm still a bit miffed about the first movie. Everyone here has seen it, right?

I haven't, but I'm the type of person that spoilers just make me want to see it more. Don't worry about little old me sitting here in the corner. whee

Ah, okies. The part that had me miffed was the challenges to get through to the Sorcerer's Stone. In the book, at the end, there's the part with the potions and the fires and stuff. It makes Hermione look really good, being the smart cookie she is. In the movie, they cut it out and made her look like a total wilting flower! She stayed behind with an unconscious Ron. >.< Argh!

Yeah, I loved that part with Hermione! whee whee And it would have made more sense for Harry to go on alone like that.. since there was only enough potion for one.
Jack.. *pokes Jack* Warn me next time when you start your RP! I need to make a profile or two now.. grrr... Oh, and I've voted for you. wink
But I guess it gives me a good reason to stay active on Gaia? lol

Oh yeah, now I remember seeing that movie.. ^^; I thought you were referring to OoTP for a second Gin...
As for you Sporky, I gave you fair warning a while ago that I'd open it on the 14th of July. razz

If you think about it though, Gin, it made sense for them to remove that part in the first movie. Yeah, it was annoying, but you can't really safely have anyone jump through a wall of fire. I don't personally think it made Hermione look like a "Wilting Flower" but that's just how I see it. *shrugs* It's been too long since I've seen most of them, so it's hard for me to say what I do and don't like. All I know is I seem to like them more I see them.

Not only am I an aunt, I'm now an employed aunt.
HP movies: Basically, the books are all immensely better than the movies. I am inclined to hate them all the first time I see them, then the second time I find things they did right. Then I don't watch them again.
As they go on, though, they tend to be a little less horrible. I really liked the one Cuaron directed (Prisoner?) because visually it was very nice.

You, or Shade. It's not like my finally getting a job should push anybody else into employment. Simply, it was my time and the extra money/something to get out of the house regularly, without using said extra money, will be quite nice.
It's at a dry-cleaner near here, counter help.
The avis disappeared for me for a while, too. I also run Opera most of the time, though. It has various little quirks--so that could be the cause of my issue. *shrug* They are showing now.

Well, here shortly I'll probably need to get a jarb anyway, since my current $600 may not last as long as I'd like it to.. especially after dentist appointment and possible new medications later this year.
Operas tend to have a bunch of little quirks anyway.. I'm kinda wondering what'll happen when I get a Wii and start using its version of Opera..
*prods Maker, not over the edge into water though* *an obnoxious "Ow!" can be heard as his worm form gets poked* Okay, it's your round next.
