Shalendra froze as she heard his words, her eyes wide open, "Wha-what??" she was in complete shock at the suddenness of what he was asking of her. "Do you really mean it?" she asked him as she looked into his eyes trying to make sure he was being honest.

Shalendra's eyes softened as she looked down into his eyes, "Of course" she said as she leaned in and kissed him lovingly and passionately, she moved almost animal like as they spent the next hour finishing with each other. She laid next to him as she breathed heavily, tracing the tattoos on him, "I love you" she said as she laid there.

Shalendra smiled happily as she continued to trace his tattoos, "So, why is it that you change form? My people do because if we kept to the same form we could be considered suspicious" she said as she looked into his eyes. She was very curious about this new information she had come across in dealing with vampires.

"I guess we are more alike then our people have ever realized" Shalendra said as she chuckled a bit, "I'm just a little odd compared to the rest of my people, everything changes except my hair, it always remains silver". She got up and walked over to her wardrobe looking through the clothes hanging there, most wouldn't fit her since they were intended for her old form, but some were a one size fits all.

Shalendra looked behind her, "Why are you laughing?" she asked as she stuck out her tongue and laughed as well, she then chose a simple outfit and dressed. There was a knock heard at the front door, "Um, besides your family who else knows of where this house is?" she asked curiously.

Shalendra quickly made her way to the door and looked through the peep whole, gasping silently she backed up quickly, "Its my parents, what should I do? What if they try to take me back? I don't want to leave you again" she said as she went back to Valerian. She was scared, she loved her parents but didn't want to be separated from her love again, not after so close to losing who he was to her.

Shalendra stayed in Valerian's arms as he opened the door to let her parents in, "Greetings Mother and Father" she said quietly as they entered into the house, both looked almost too young to be her parents. They seemed on edge as they looked at the two of them, "Shalendra, sweetie, we were so worried about you, why did you leave home?" her mother asked hesitantly. The father raised his hand to her, "We know why she left, and don't try to act innocent, she isn't likely to trust us since you and I were a part of bringing her home" he said calmly yet sternly to his wife.

The mother huffed at Valerian, "We brought her home and put her through that so she would forget you and ever being with such an awful creature as yourself!" she shrilled. "DARATRINE! Calm yourself this instant, you had no right to force our daughter through such a horrible method! Now you swore you would stop this foolishness if I allowed you to come with me, should I send you back?!" the father said angrily at his wife. He then turned to Valerian and bowed, "I apologize for my wife's rash words and behavior, my name is Uthorim" he said in a calm voice as he placed his fist over his heart in greeting.
