Once the votes had been tallied, the gnomes drew straws to decide who would go tell Riley. The one who drew the short straw was currently being pushed, rather violently, to her feet. They could tell she didn't want to be disturbed, but.. ".. WEMADEOURCHOICESPLEASEDONTKILLME" He held out a piece of paper, flailing it at her while trying to keep as far away as he could. Riley barely looked up from her perch on Malodore's shoulder, and snatched the paper away, giving it a quick look. She wasn't surprised. She handed the paper back to the gnome, and said nothing. ".. Uhhhhh. You gonna-" You announce it. She slid her hand under Malodore's arm. I'm busy. "You got it chief!" The gnome reached for the microphone, and checked to make sure it was working before it announced the winners. "The Dance Contest is over, and we have our winners!" "In THIRD PLACE, with a combined total of 13 points, is HADIYYA AND SHARRA! You each win two Scarentines Candies! Please make sure you deposit them in the bank immediately, and then go use 'em over at The Kissing Booth my great-uncle on my mother's side has set up!" The gnome put a hand over the mic and mumbled to a nearby student. "We're all related, more or less, you know. It's like playing seven degrees of gnome and bacon. Man I love bacon." "In SECOND PLACE, with a total of 16 points, are SIN AND BARTH! Nice job executing that dip, by the way, it was the secret move! You each win Three Scarentine Candies!"The gnome put his hand over the mic again and muttered to one of the other judges. "I still say that dip didn't deserve the point, it was more like he was sweeping the floor with her hair." "And our GRAND PRIZE WINNER, with a whopping total of 21 points, is the lovely ARACHNE! She wins FIVE Scarentine Candies!"The gnomes cheered like maniacs, whistling and hooting. It was clear Arachne had not only won for her stunning dance ability, but also for her scanty choice of outfit and the fact that she was available. Several gnomes were giving her come hither stares. "Once more, if you've won candy, please make sure you deposit them in the bank immediately, and then go use 'em over at The Kissing Booth!"Final Point Tallies:
Arachne - 20 + 1 = 21 Sin and Barth - 14 + 1 + secret1 = 16 Hadiyya and Sharra 11 + 1 + secret1 = 13
Jericho and Lizzy - 11 + 1 = 12 Chuppi and Tybalt - 11 + 1 = 12 Morton and Coralie - 9 + 1 = 10 Sepheran and Tess 8 + 1 = 9 Gabrian and Little Wolfe - 8 + 1 = 9 Ren and Alessa - 9 Morrigan and Christof - 5 + 1 = 6 West and Tset - 6 Siddie and Sammy - 4 Colette and Calder - 2 + 1 = 3

((GUYS I NEED TO JUST NEVER SLEEP AGAIN.))
Riley's answer didn't make any sense to Junko, but she didn't get any time to ask anything more on the subject when suddenly Tybalt came out of nowhere and slammed into the ghoul! She gasped and jumped back out of reflex at first, about to come to Riley's aid when Sammy arrived. She smiled. "Oh! Hello, Sammy." She greeted the undead warmly. Sure, they didn't really have much of a history outside of the occasional class together and..Braum trying to pawn Sammy off on Junko because he didn't want to work with her for their Sex Ed project, but that didn't mean she could just brush her off or something. The monster ghoul had no personal ill feelings toward the undead. Though if she remembered right she didn't seem to like Yaya? Oh dear. Hm. Junko had turned to check on Tybalt and Riley again only to have Riley put a hand on her shoulder and introduce her so...proudly. Junko blushed and fidgeted with the end of her sleeve again, smiling shyly.
"I..I try~." Was all she could think to say to it this time, though it was what Sammy said that really threw her off. Junko blinked and stared at Sammy in shock and disbelief. Met her...during the field trip? How...was...was Junko that forgettable? It was a hard blow to her self-esteem, that's for sure. She frowned and reached up to play with a bit of hair, a nervous habit she usually saved for when she was uncomfortable. "Nnnnno...we...met long before that..." Junko said quietly, looking honestly hurt. Sammy didn't remember that Braum tried to avoid working with her by suggesting she and Junko work together instead of him and Sammy? Ouch. She tried her best not to show it, she really did, but it was clear her polite smile was rather forced. N...no big deal, right? Maybe Sammy just...i-it wasn't like they were close friends or anything, more like acquaintances but...
Ow.
She stayed quiet as she watched the small interaction around the subject of love again, ignoring the way her hair wrapped itself around her fingers and gave them an almost comforting squeeze. The Mistress stayed thankfully quiet, something Junko would have to reward her for later. Love was a touchy subject? But why? She waved to the two as she left, blinking and looking down at her sleeve when she felt a shake. Oh, her phone was going off! Junko dug around until she found it, humming thoughtfully at the question Rain was posing. Hmmm...
Junko looked up and around to see if she could pinpoint anyone just yet. So many couples! Though she did notice Riley had returned. That was fast! She was going to go over and see if she was alright but instead watched as Malodore and she interacted, blinking a bit. That...that was so cute! She giggled and looked back down at her eyePhone to write up an answer to Rain. She'd just have to find Rain later to give her a better answer in person!
She jumped as the gnomes suddenly yelled over the microphone, making a little squeak of surprise. Oooh! Yay! Her friends won things! Junko clapped and put her phone away, looking around for Yaya, Sharra, Sin and even Barth; she'd only really met Barth once (That she can remember) but he deserved her congratulations along with Sin!

Meeki Why, Nyyrikki was just as nice in person as he had seemed online! And he didn't mind how she looked. In fact, he even complimented her! Did he not realize that she was a member of the undead? Maybe not. Her eyes turned to glance at all the couples, so many interracial ones at that. Could it be that a lot of the students were seeing one another as equals? Of course, a few seemed to stick to their own races but Halloween Town wasn't built in one day, was it? "Thank you," she finally replied, breaking her gaze from the beautiful couples in the room. She still wished she had worn something nice. She wanted to be one of the pretty girls hanging on the arm of a handsome boil. She wondered if he wanted to dance and that thought made her even more nervous. Few knew her secret, that it had taken her months of practicing to learn to walk properly on two legs. She had traveled purely on all fours for most of her unlife, leaping from place to place much like a frog. What would happen if she had to dance on them? Would she trip and fall? Break an ankle? There were so many horrifying possibilities. She felt sad when Shine left. She didn't want her friend to spend the party alone. Perhaps she could reunite with her later and make sure she was having a good time. Everyone should be smiling tonight. Nyyrikki's brows raised slightly. She seemed pretty deep inside herself for a few moment, so he waited so see if she'd surface a little before he spoke. "You're thinking pretty hard. Something wrong? Doesn't have anything to do with that creep, does it?" He expression became a little more fierce as he mentioned the 'secret admirer' that had given him a way to ask her to the party without sounding awkward. He really was a bit concerned about that person...
He followed her gaze to the ghoul that had parted with her, and tipped up the corner of his mouth. "She came alone? We should find her a date." He imagined that it wouldn't be that hard. He didn't know many students yet, but maybe that would make it easier to just walk up to another boil and convince him to take a chance.

While he winced at the pain the boil had gone through, he was glad he had the fire to continue and move on. Armed with ghoul knowledge and a set task, Christof marched back over to his date while Calder beamed with pride. His little baby was growing up!
As for him, he leaned on the table once more and breathed, remembering he had a date too that was WAY over there. Speaking of which, he wondered if he should give it the old stallion's try with her and see if he could get anywhere. Sure, she wasn't exactly the first thing that came to mind to a date, but that didn't mean he couldn't go for a little kissing to mark an evening. Heck. Maybe he'd even like ghouls after. He certainly knew enough about them.
Taking a deep breath, he gently, GENTLY, moved back over to Colette and flashed a smile. "Sorry I took so long. Seems that we're officially out of the game and out of punch." He looked up, and clapped for those who won, before looking back at her. "Would you like to see your friends or sit down for a while?" He really couldn't be walking around this entire party, but he wouldn't mind it at all if she mingled or just wanted to talk.

When the winners of the dance off were announced, she felt an odd ping in her chest, feeling mildly disappointment about the results. While she was glad and relieved that the "ordeal" was over, part of her could not help but wish they had won something for their effort. Still, it had been quite the fun experience since it was technically her first time, and she had Jericho (and Riley, not that she was aware that the Mindflayer had a part in this) to thank for it!
And to an extent, Amrita too - not that the Vetala was anywhere in sight...
"Don't think you can avoid answering my questions just because this is over!" She smiled, letting go of Jericho's hand and removing her other hand from his shoulder (she had a feeling that arm will ache tomorrow) before giving a curtsy. Once that was done, she gestured at the food table (where it looked like an accident had taken place), "Shall we grab some food before returning to our table?"
Her handbag and the skelephone inside were there, together with the gift she had given to Jericho - she was getting slightly worried about them and felt that it was time to text Amrita anyway... She still hadn't spotted Charlie yet. It was rather nerve wracking actually...
She then looked around for Arachne with the intention of congratulating her as well as to find a chance to speak to her; there was something off about the spiderkin... They were not particularly close friends, but even she could feel and see that! Perhaps a talk was in order... Her brows furrowed in worry at the thought.

Sin blinked as she heard her name and Barth's called, she slowly lifted her head from his shoulder where she had been rather enjoying their lazy swirls around the dance floor. Sweet Jack it was like Barth's mellow attitude was somehow contagious! She looked at Barth sounding a bit surprised and smiled slowly. "Hey we...we won!"
She wasn't used to winning being...easy...nice, Sin had always had to fight to win, her mother and father had told her if she wasn't cut-throat there was no winning. Except here she had won just by relaxing, by being nice and taking things slowly and just appreciating the moment. "I suppose we can stop dancing if you want..." She half laughed, she knew how easily Barth tired.

Arachne had moved off the dance floor a little while before the winners were announced, her feet now sore and warm from the dancing. She'd poured herself another glass of punch and was taking a drink when one of the strange little gnomes made the loud announcement.
She listened to the third and second place winners, giving Sin a little nod of congratulations over her drink and then when the overall winner was announced - her - she choked as a mouthful of punch went down the wrong way.
'M-me?' she stammered, trying to ignore the looks from the gnomes, they were a little worrying as she couldn't really decipher them; no one had looked at her like that before!

Before Jericho could get an answer in, the contest was ended, much to his relief. He was surprised to hear Barth's name being called as one of the winners. That Sloth demon sure was full of surprises. Though, with his own competitive nature, he was mildly disappointed to have lost as well. But in the very least, he hadn't looked stupid in the process and his treasure was kept safe.
"I play games of course," He finally said to Lizzy before addressing the civil issue, "And yeah... we're supposed to be able to wreck havoc and be civil at the same time apparently. But... thanks."
Nodding to the demon, he gave a small bow, then headed on to the food area. It looked pretty messy there right now, but it looked like there still was something they could eat there.
Quickly, he glanced on around to try and see if he could spot any of the others. Riley and Mal seemed to be over at the tables as well, but that was all he could see right now. He had no clue where anyone else was at the moment.

To tell true, Sharra almost missed the announcement of winners...having been very seriously considering tossing the idea of further attempting victory in this contest in order to rather thoroughly snog his ghoulfriend, who, with her fetching eyes and that slight pout that came with the djinn's apology, only served to heighten her appeal instantaneously. Luckily, he was momentarily distracted by sneaking a glance at the odd little reconnect going on between the mindflayer and the plague doctor over there. Somehow, that was one partnership that the nergal was glad hadn't dissipated. Riley was a strange one, but a good'un, at least in his personal opinion.
Startled when the gnome read out the dancing kings and queens of the night, he then beamed in delight upon hearing their names called, and sliding an arm about the slender waist of his ghoul, he did kiss her then, warm and fervent. "We placed!" He crowed, scanning the crowd for their fellow victors. "Congrats to everyone!" A wave to Barth, altogether amused that the demon had made second place in a dance contest of all things...a real shame he'd missed seeing that dip the announcer was going on about, but he'd been too wrapped up in his own, were he to be honest with himself.
With that event behind them, he rather supposed that they could go on to the other festivities usually associated with shindigs of this nature. "So, my dear..." He murmured, a rather playful gleam shining in those acidic eyes of his, "What would you like to do?" Naturally more dancing would be in order, but they did have plenty of friends here...and Aksaja was practically at their beck and call, after all. Twould be a shame not to make use of that at some point.

"Games involving dancing?" She was sure those exist, at least, although the name of those games escaped her. The next part of his comment caused her to give a rather blank look as she tapped a finger on her chin, "Uh... Is that even possible? Wrecking havoc civilly..." She cleared her throat, putting on her serious face as she spoke in what could be assumed as her best Jericho-impression, "Excuse me, but I'm going to set your house on fire now, if you don't mind? Ah, you mind? Well, pardon me then- FOOSH."
Going back to normal, she shrugged, "Like that?" Scarentine was definitely making her a little odd.
"Ah, excuse me a sec... Help grab my share please?" She smiled at Jericho before moving over to where Arachne was, by the food table drinking some punch. Giving the Spiderkin a smile and mouthing 'congrats', she then grabbed one of the heart shaped cookies (making sure it was one of those really hard ones) off the table, took aim, and threw it directly at the head of one of the gnomes making faces at her friend. Upon contact, a loud 'crack' could be heard followed by a yelp of pain - whether the crack came from the cookie or the gnome was unknown.
"Next time it won't be a cookie - they're wasted on you," She frowned at the gnomes in a disapproving manner before turning her attention back to Arachne, "I need your skelephone number!" Leaning in, she added in a softer tone, "Lets have a good talk after this party."

The term "head over heels" cropped up within the djinn's hazy mind as the nergal straightened them once again so they were both upright, if not completely balanced. At least in her case. If not for the carefully placed claw at her back she may very well have swayed ever so slightly in place what with the way her head was spinning and the boneless, tingling that was going on in her extremities. Now, it could easily be said the demon boy's kisses had effected her since there very first brush, but that.. That had been different, better. Was it the setting? Or perhaps the little addition of a certain four letter word? Both?
Dazed as she was, she nearly missed the announcement for winners, but when their names were called allowed she tried to focus on why. "We did?" What place? Oh jack, it didn't matter. Even after her little completely lose of grace at the end of that dip they had still managed to place some how. Yaya was ecstatic, and she eagerly joined in with her boil as he congratulated the other winners. "Yes, Congrats all around!"
Still perhaps a little unstable after that toe curling kiss, the djinn was very unwilling to release her hold upon the nergal, so when he turned to look down at her with those toxic eyes she rose on tip toe to lay her lips against his chin. Sliding hands up to curl over his shoulders to clasp at the back of his neck. "I would very much like to enjoy a little dancing that is just for fun and closeness, if that's alright?" A little time to be a couple before calling upon their dragon.
There was also a little something on her mind that she had been waiting to talk to him about. Now actually seemed a very good time, surprisingly. She hadn't been keeping it from him, really, but she'd wanted to be sure, and she certainly felt that now. "Your aunts sent me a letter a couple of weeks ago." Oh, but that could mean so many things to the young nergal. Her tone was content though, calm and serene as she rested her brow against the boil's jawline.

While the party continued on, Natalia could not help but wrap herself around Whisper and to hold on tightly. This was a dance and she had been bought out by the ghoul after alll; it would be very unlikely that her--obvious display of affection would go unnoticed. Everyone was doing it! And...well, perhaps...No, whatever. If anyone had anything to say about how she spent her evening, the ghoul would have a few choice words to throw back at them! She looked fabulous as did Whisper, and tonight she would not let her ego stand in the way of having a wonderful time.
As her thoughts raced she tightened her grip without noticing, enjoying the closeness and not planning on relinquishing it for any reason.
In the mean time her eyes did manage to scan the horizon of faces, finding some of them to be ******** gorgeous. Gosh she loved this school. While she soaked in the beauty that was boobs, butts, and luscious lips; in the distance and through the doors she picked up on a very familiar face; Mei, who entered with a much taller boil she had never noticed before. Like the doll students thoughts, Natalia immediately found the pairing suited for the event and smiled wide. (although she somewhat hoped the trio of ghouls would have gone together and then returned to her dorm room afterwards...aw well.)
She also thought Mei's outfit looked very sexy, and sucked her lower lip in for a quick bite.
Like clockwork, as one familiar face came to be so did a dozen others and soon Natalia's sweeping citrus eyes were jumping from couple to couple; Ren and Alessa, Cora and Morton, LW and Gabe, Yaya and...some boil?...all of which looking ravishing in their own rights. She wanted to ease her way over to one of them but held fast to her date and only looked down to whisper. "Are you thirsty, Wisp?"

Jericho shot Lizzy a sideways glance at the comment on dancing games. While he did play such games occasionally, he thought she was having a little too much fun with the idea of him dancing. Then, shaking his head, he elaborated a bit on the other topic.
"Not.. really. I think they meant when we're not being all powerful and stuff we need to ... you know, I don't even really know what they're trying to get at," he said flatly.
Once Lizzy went off towards Arachne, he continued on to the food table to grab two plates. He didn't know what sorts of things the demon girl liked, so he just got a little bit of this and that for her. After that, he started to head on back to their table, but he paused by Riley and Malodore first.
"Riley... please don't threaten my treasure again in the future..." he asked her softly. It almost sounded like a whine.

Arachne gave Elizabeth a quick smile as the ghoul approached the food table, and laughed as she aimed and threw a cookie at a gnome.
'Good shot.' she said, turning to face Elizabeth. 'And thanks, I wasn't expecting to win, even if I did seem to have a strange knack for dance that I never thought I did.'
She wondered what exactly they had to talk about, as for brief moments she'd forgotten about the humiliating spectacle she'd made of herself in front of Rosciel and gave a short nod. Her behaviour here had been markedly different at this party from the last.
'Oh here,' she said, fishing in the tiny red velvet bag she'd hung just under the cloth of her half-skirt, pulling out a small, rectangular piece of card. It had her skelephone number under a printed black spider graphic.
'My Grandmother got me those..' she explained. She never would have thought of business cards but apparently as a seer just starting out it paid to advertise. She was careful who she gave them to however. That given she nodded at the boil Jericho.
'Having fun?' she'd not mentioned that she was surprised to see her with a monster, but then she'd come to see that very few Demons here were very selective in the company they kept. She had to admit he seemed okay, and not in the least bit clumsy..just easy to embarrass.

"Thank you," She giggled, taking the card from Arachne and holding it up for a better look; for obvious reasons, the card's design made her smile. Lowering her hand, she held onto the card, seeing how her handbag was not with her... Which reminded her that she still had to text Amrita. Lizzy nodded with a grin, "You danced really well for both rounds! Perhaps its the atmosphere? I was surprised that Jericho and I didn't get kicked out in the first round, seeing how both of us were inexperienced dancers!"
At the question, she broke into a sheepish smile, blushing a little, "Yup... Honestly, it started out a little awkward but mm... A lot of firsts for me today." She giggled softly at that; it was obvious she wasn't going to elaborate - at least, not here, "We can talk more about this when we're alone, yes?" Besides, she had a nagging feeling that Arachne might need the talk...
She then paused, staying silent for a short moment before wrapping her arms around the Demoness, not giving her the chance to protest. Letting go, she smiled, "I hope you enjoyed yourself too."
