Moonkit squeaked in annoyance but padded over to his mother.

"Yes you do, you have us. We're your littermates." Sunkit said merrily, butting Moonkit with her head before scampering off to the fresh-kill pile.
"Sunkit, be careful or Moonkit will get back at you."
Her mother warned with a hint of amusement in her voice.

Daylight snorted, "Yeah, when she's in the middle of playing, other times she's as quiet as you, and stalking other warriors' tails." She watched as their daughter left the other kits, and began stalking Tulippetal's tail, pouncing on it fast and quick, quiet as the night, or her father at least.

You'll have to do better than that to catch more prey." she teased. She heard scuffling under the roots of an old oak tree and she dropped into a hunter's crouch and crept forward. She jumped and lamded on a fat rabbit. She killed it with a swift bite and padded back to Whiteheart. She laid down on the ground. " That's how you catch a fat piece of prey." she said triumphantly.
