((Oh, and just quickly commenting: God-modding is against the rules. Then again, the leader himself did it, so I probably would have done the same thing.... just kidding for the second part. I hate GM'ing))
[[Isn't the mirror a bit of a... what's the word, cheat? As far as I view it, everyone would be using that as their weapon, seeing as their opponent wouldn't be able to see them]]

People used powers but weren't invincible; people [mostly] knew what team they were on, and there were some really kewl strategies! "It's this neat invention. Lying." This went better than most of the guild's RPs go, mostly because RPing is like improv acting-- the actors have to work with eachother. The magic rule for improv is you don't say 'no'-- with actions OR words-- to your fellow actors. Even when Blazing randomly called Chiron onto the feild, instead of saying 'no', Lolly just went along with it and continued the story It WORKED. Great job guys!!!))

If used by someone who is illiterate, doesn't read the other RPer's posts, and GMs, then it would be disasterous. But Lolly is a good RPer and knows how to use it well. After all, you're Ares and you give the okay on magical weapons. So you can personally make sure that only the people who deserve magical items are the ones who get them.))

As far as I view it, everyone would be using that as their weapon, seeing as their opponent wouldn't be able to see them]] {{I don't usually do that. I just got fed up, and realized that nothing I said would change what was going on. So, you know. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Also, the mirror is my magical item. According to the thread, it 'traps' my enemies, though I don't have details for it, so I'm just going with it and trying to make it not a G'M weapon. It stuns people for about ten seconds. Not, like, forever. They can shake it off; and if they close their eyes before they look, it doesn't work on them. It's kind of like an electric spear. It electrocutes you if you're on the ground, but if you were to jump in the air as they hit you and fall back and away before you hit the ground, it wouldn't really hurt you because you weren't touching the ground and thus it couldn't travel through your body to get there. And if you're talking about using it to see things, I was improvising. Another person could entirely have said a branch moved sunlight shone on the mirror, causing a glare. It's up to THEM to find a way to counter my moves, from my POV...though if you really protest, I won't do it again. :3 However, I"m not giving up my god-given item. Everyone else has one, and if I give up the mirror, well, that's kinda unfair.}} Aislynn grinned, pleased that she had won the game. The flag would look nice in the cabin, she thought. However, she was definitely going to have to do something about this leg brace she had going on. It was not, in any definition of the word, comfortable. Dragging the heavier limb along, she limped towards the edge of the forest, rubbing her back as she went. She probably had a bruise there from that kid hitting her with the arrow... "Gotta check that when I get back." she said to herself, passing Nightmare and dragging her foot along behind her. It made a bit of a trail in the dirt, kicking up dust when she dropped it too heavily. She hoped none of the tree spirits would mind her ripping up a bit of grass...She had no wish to be attacked right now.

Beatrice went into the forest. This can't be happening, its a dream she thought. After she cleared her head, she went back and kept exploring the camp.

Emma listened as Chiron reminded everyone the rules of the game, and that Aphrodite, Poseidon, Hermes, Ares, Nike, and Morpheus campers would be after the ATHENA flag. Athena, Zeus, Hades, Apollo, Demeter, Dionysus, Gaea, Persephone campers and the hunters would be after the APHRODITE flag. He blew the conch horn, and Emma raced off into the forest, fart arrows ready.

The ATHENA flag is located in the northern end of forest, closer to the mess hall.
The APHRODITE flag is located in the southern end of forest, closer to the stables.

Charlotte looked at herself in the mirror from her mother. Battle armor was so bulky! Why couldn't it be nice and pretty? Glitter. It needed glitter. Maybe she could have a child of that god that makes stuff make her some prettier armor that compliments her eyes.
Aphrodite was her mother. It made so much sense that her mother was the goddess of beauty. She even gave her a gift; this wonderful mirror.
Charlotte looked up, surprised, when Chiron blew the horn. What was she supposed to do now? Who cares. She went over, sat on a rock, and waited for the stupid game to be over.
