████████ ██ █ ▍▍❤ oops D: I accidentally clicked format 2 instead of 1 xC force of habit
and I will send in the ones I have before I go; I'm coloring the line art for the wand shop now :3
This shade looks a lot like brown ... but it's actually brighter than 'dark red' ...

It's okay. That's just a Warning, I know it's hard to brake that habit. Do you mean the shade in the banner or in your font in the post? Cause' the post look red not brown.

████████ ██ █ ▍▍❤ They're the same color :/ I didn't originally have the bars with the hearts bordering, but they make it look more red, just seeing a lot of it together I guess

Omishu/Omi: (What name do you go by?) Looks red to me. And don't worry about the posting color mix-up. It takes most people a few days to get used to posting in a new color. (And sometimes people don't check the Sorting Hat straight away either, so they don't even know they've been sorted until a day or two after.)
Thanks, Tina. I'll get started on the trivia. I'll PM Stardust Disaster later. (Got to go somewhere now.) I don't think we were saying we SHOULD do a big HM issue, just that we COULD if we ended up with a lot of articles.

████████ ██ █ ▍▍❤ You can call me whatever you want :3 My real name is Catherine so some people call me Cathy, Cath, Catrina, Cat, Citty, Cit, Cit-Cat, Catherine {all pronounced with a hard c ... sounds like K}... but on the other hand some people call me Omishu, Mishu, Momo, Omi, Princess, Lemon, Jack, etc ... so I'm fine with whatever :3
Also, I just finished the second banner for the classifieds! =D 3 more to go x3

Just to be clear: I'm doing two articles? One about the Member of the Month (DownAzzLette it seems to be) and the other about the college thing?
And Tina: what exactly are you doing? You have a staff that should be helping take the load off you! If you want, we can just help out or leave out some of your articles and substitute other stuff? Like I said, we can always use a few of those comics I found as a page in the Monthly. And what Lyra said is right... if we were going to have too many articles, we could always use two pages again.
@Omi: no worries! you're still pretty darn new, but it seems like you've been with us foreva!!! =) anyway there is some kind of confusion because bolded darkred and bolded brown look almost exactly the same.
I must say I'm loving the new mods on the Mod Squad now. Sooo awesome!

████████ ██ █ ▍▍❤ aw thanks Icee x3 I feel like that too; it's probably because I love HP and got so involved right in the very beginning :3 hopefully I get the hang of posting in red and I did notice that :C I posted them both together and they really do look almost exactly the same. Luckily, though, from what I've heard, my posts look red :3

@Omi: As long as it doesn't look brown (like the Headmaster's) then I really don't think it's a big deal. As long as your with the limits or red, you should be fine.
@Lyra: No problem. Okay. Just remember we only have a few days left. Oh, gotcha. Okay, well if we end up with more then expected then we will either make it a big issue or take out some of the older articles.
@Omi: Your doing great!
@Icee: Icee your doing MotM and if you want to the collage idea and you have some free time, then that's great. Of course I'll put it in.
Last Issue (and some of the other issues) I did the Event (which I wanted to do), Wizarding World Past Events, Meet the Mods, Around Hogwarts, The Note from the Editor and the ToC and Staff. The last three I don't mind doing of course. And coming up with the Meet the Mods questions was really fun and just a good idea so, I wanted to do that one as well. But, if you look back there are several people who said they would help out and can't anymore. First it was just for that month and now it's indefinite. I'm just saying I can't keep up writing that much every month. I can defiantly do the things I said I want to but, other then that I can't keep it up (health and all). If we have more then expected this month, as I said we can always do a big issue again. That's not a big deal. Ive got the hang of posting it now. It doesn't take 5 hours (anymore). It's the writing everything that's taking me a long time. And I'm promised elsewhere as well (like the Grad subforum) and I want to keep all of my commitments.
(Hope that didn't come off the wrong way because, I really love the HM)

████████ ██ █ ▍▍❤ That's why I was concerned with it looking like brown, but I think I'm okay
thanks x3 I think I might actually be able to have them all by the date at this rate! =D but don't get your hopes up ...
I know what you mean about having to write so much. We should advertise the HM more in the guild :3 I haven't even been in this guild for a week, but when I first read the HM I love[d] it! I immediately became involved in it, but now I feel like a fan of the Quibbler :C Everyone thought the Quibbler was a bunch of bologna, but it wasn't/isn't! We need to let people know that the HM isn't a bunch of bologna! If we can get more people to read the HM and see how great it is, I'm sure we can get lots more people to help out with writing and stuff; there are a lot of people in this guild and there must be at least 2 or 3 writers or artists in it besides us :C I feel like the HM will go out of business if we don't get more writers and stuff to balance the stress levels more ... we need to recruit people, but how?

@Omi: It looks fine. I wouldn't worry.
@Everyone: How, is a good question. I've tried advertising before in the discussions sub-forum and in here as well. We have been awarding House Points to everyone that writes and still, we only have the same staff.
I know I can ask 2 people to help out (besides Stardust Disaster) this month but, after that I don't know how long they can keep it up. I think I'm going to call upon the Prefects to get their Houses into helping out more, as well as themselves. (I'll send them a PM as soon as I have a spare second.)

████████ ██ █ ▍▍❤ That's a good idea :3 What if we had some kind of ... um I don't really know how to phrase it, but what if we had a points bonus and gave extra points to the house who recruited the most people? The prefects and heads of house could help rally the students and encourage more of their students to help out?

Not sure if a bonus is a good way to get people involved. We already offer Points. That should be more then enough. As for the HoH's helping out, they have alot on their plates right now, so I think relying on the Prefects and DH's will be good.
I got a reply back from James, he's agreed to write Wizarding World Past Events this issue. All I had to say was Points and he jumped, lol.

Because I'm doing the Member of the Month and I don't have neough time to get feedback from the guild, I'm not going to submit my college article until next month.
Poor Tina! Don't overwork yourself love. If people commit to doing things and don't, you can deduct points! And no it's not rude at all. I say it lots and lots (or even if I don't say it I think it all the time) you helped exceed my expectations for the Monthly! Like Omi said... it's an actual paper/newsletter!
Hmm...another feature we could do would be an Around Gaia featurette...where we talk about the newer changes around Gaia...but I don't even go anywhere in Gaia, but here rofl

The fact is that most people that come through the guild are hi and bye members... they get excited at first, but then forget about us =/. We end up banning them. I think we could definitely advertise it more in Gaia itself. I owuld check the rules of the HP forum first before making a thread there.
I definitely wanna keep the Monthly on a volunteer only basis. We aren't going to force people to write. Also Tina, anytime you need help with an issue feel free to ask the Mods (even though that's kind of redundant because you're a mod now too lol) I actually like Omi's idea about a recruitment thing for the Monthly. It could be like one of those limited time only referral bonuses.
