Her hand lifted to his jaw and slid to his chin followed by her kissing him quickly before pulling away.
"Should be leave then? Before people start getting the same idea and we have to force our way through their chaos?"

"Probably," Logan replied. "It'll be hard to fight our way through the crowd in the dark." He paused and squinted trying to see any kind of outlines or people. But it was very difficult. Especially with his reduced vision. He then reached down and fished her hand from the darkness, holding it in his.
"We can't get separated. We'd never find each other," he said as he began to make his way through the crowd.

A giggle escaped her as she gripped his hand in return.
"You just wanted an excuse to hold my hand. Don't like to your self," she said teasingly before pulling out her phone. She pressed the button on the side and the screen lit up brightly.
"Will this help?" she asked.

"Yes it would," he replied, not commenting on her first statement. He looked ahead of them as they made their way through, pushing past some people and avoiding others. People go the idea of using their phones pretty quickly and the entire place was soon lit by small phone-flashlights.
They got to the sidewalk shortly where many people were trying to get cabs. He glanced down either way and decided to turn right. If they went left, they'd run into the lake. "So...find a restaurant with power, get some dinner then head back to the hotel?" he said, going over the plan in his head.

Kendra followed after without saying much, only offering her light to help guide Logan. Once they got out onto the streets she felt as though she could breath once more and sucked the cool night's air into her lungs.
His words reached her and a response prickled upon her tongue. She thought for a moment, being guided along by his hand.
"I would suppose. Sounds like a good idea. I'm sure there are some restaurants working on generators."

"Yeah, alright. Just look for a building with lights on, I suppose," he replied as they walked down the street.
After some time, they came up to a fairly small, yet still decently sized building with power. Logan paused and looked inside. It was a sushi restaurant. Of course. "Hm...you willing to try this or should we move on?"
((Cause, according to my sister, Chicago has a looooot of sushi places...))

"It's fine... Maybe they have oysters~! You know what they say about them~!" she grinned as she teased and followed along. She was having too much fun with this.
"I haven't had much fish... I say we try everything!"

Logan chuckled slightly as he turned towards the restaurant. "If you want to. Though I don't know if my stomach could hold /all/ of the fish they have." He kind of smiled as he turned and held the door open for her, glancing inside. It was rather busy for the time of night. He suspected it was because of the power outage. But, then again, this was Chicago. Perhaps they were this busy all of the time.

"I wouldn't want you exploding... That's for sure," she said as they entered the restaurant. "At least they don't have to cook anything here..."
Her eyes scanned the people. Even in the darkness of the city this building was lit well enough to be called a romantic setting. A smile spread across her lips as she walked. She was liking how the night was going.

Logan walked in with her, scanning the area. He spotted two seats up at what looked like the bar, but decided that probably wouldn't be the best place to sit. So he waited until they were seated at a table.
"Hey so yeah..." he said as he picked up the menu. "I've had my fair amount of sushi before, but only common stuff...I haven't heard of half of this...."

Her shoulders came up in a shrug as she sat and looked at the menu.
"Neither have I... heard of these I mean. But it makes sense. I haven't had.. fish... It's too expensive so I don't buy it for at home. Unless it's fish sticks... I buy those. Really cheap stuffs. Probably isn't even real fish."
She looked up and smiled, brushing a lock of hair from her face.

Logan looked at her again and smiled. "Well I haven't in a long time but I used to frequent...fancy...places...." he admitted, his words sounding slightly embarrassed. "There aren't many sushi bars around town back at home but there where one or two around where I went to college." He smiled to himself as he continued to scan the menu, memories flooding back to him.

A chuckle shook her as she smiled.
"You wen't to fancy places while in college? Amazing. I'm sure you enjoyed that then," she said as she brought her fingers down over the smooth plastic menu, "They have a plater.... with a bunch of different stuffs....."

"I see," Logan responded as he glanced down at the menu. "And yes. I did. My parents paid for my way in college...so I used my own money in rather...interesting ways. I was more concerned about social things back then....it's kind of funny, really...." His voice trailed off as he continued to look over the menu.
A waiter came over, smiling. "Good evening lovely people. How are you all on this fine evening?"

"Hear that? I'm lovely. Well, so are you but. eh. Lets not focus on that," she said with a teasing smile, "I'm doing well. I don't know about my friend here though."
She looked over at him from across the table and rested her chin in her hands as she smiled. She was about to tease him about spending his money on strippers when the waiter had come. Blast that waiter, she thought.
