Okay.
I was gone for 12 days, from March 26 until April 6. Except I crossed the international date line, so my last day was actually April 7. but I went back in time. (Yes it confuses the hell out of me too.) Anyways, my first stop was in Hawaii, Oahu. So Aloha from that rock. It's nice there, but it's to hot and muggy for me. It was a bit of a shock, going from snow and negative temperatures, to balmy and tropical. I was in Hawaii for two? two nights and got to see quite a bit there. Including the Dole plantation and we went to a Luau(sp). Our next stop was Sydney, Australia, and I absolutely loved it there. Loved it. Cooler then Hawaii, and without the humidity. We stayed in a hotel about a 10 - 15 minute walk from a place called Darling Harbor. Which is a smaller domestic harbor then Sydney Harbor. And it was so cool. I got to go to a zoo, the aquarium, the opera house, I saw the harbor bridge, toured Sydney Harbor and got to go body surfing at Bondi and at Manly beach. Not to mention, yes I went shopping. I got a boomerang. Our last stop was in New Zealand. Auckland is muggy, but cooler then Australia. We only stayed there one night before going to Rotarua, which is a city by a lake of the same name. Lots of geothermal activity there. Reeks of sulfur. But it was pretty cool. Got to do some interesting -kind of- extreme sports. Luging, which is like go carting, except on a wicked hill course, and Zorbing. I was put in a hamster ball and rolled down a hill. ALl in all, it was a great trip. But I am so glad to be home. And if I ever get on another plane, it'll be to soon!
Holy crap that was a lot.
