Alucard cringed and he sneered, "That's the most repulsive little speech I've ever heard! Is it possible to make it any more disgusting?"
He turned his back to Loralei, "And there is no way I'm going to let...him...out, if he is there. I wouldn't want to act like a stupid twerp.."

Loralei sighed, frustrated. "From what I can see, it doesn't matter if you want to 'let' the little you out or not. Your changes appear to be trigger-based. I don't care if you don't like my 'speech', but you're stuck with me, so deal with it." She glared at him cooly. "Now... little Alucard isn't a twerp. Don't make fun of him... technically, in one way, that means you're making fun of yourself." She grinned. "So in other words, you're calling yourself a twerp."

Loralei sighed impatiently. "There may be large differences between you two, but somewhere, you both make up the same person. It isn't so difficult to believe if you just try...." She grinned. "Stomach acting up again, I presume? Oh well, it was the only way I could think of to get your younger self to talk..." And get some fun out of it at the same time.

"...There's other ways you know! I bet you just did that to get at me!" Alucard groaned as he sat down in the middle of the street, holding his stomach, "Curse you..."
Alucard switched into his crow form again and flew onto Loralei's shoulder, "This time I'm going to make a bigger mess.."
He pecked her temple once with as much strength as he could muster.

Loralei grimaced as Alucard pecked at her temple, but otherwise showed no other movement. "Eh... I've had worse. You should see the mess little Alucard makes when he eats. It's like a typhoon took over my house." She shook her head. "Oh well." Loralei began walking down the street. "So where are we headed to this time, bird?" she asked. "My house? Axis? Hm?"

"Axis you dummy!" Alucard laid one on Loralei's shoulder. He intended to keep doing that as much as he could for every one of her remarks that he thought was stupid, "There should be at least one person there who knows some sort of teleportation spells."

Loralei frowned at the bird, but otherwise kept silent. This is going to be a long journey... She sighed to herself. Loralei crossed her arms, determined not to say anything... unless he said something first.
Silently, Loralei got on the road to Axis and began the journey. It would take the rest of the night to get there... and she was determined not to let her worry show.

Alucard was getting bored and tired of the journey, "Can't you just fly? Or do you actually prefer using your feet?"
Alucard ruffled his feathers a bit. He felt he wasn't going to get an answer and slightly moved his head back to rest like most birds do. At least he could sleep while Loralei was doing the traveling for him.

Loralei smirked as she noted Alucard falling asleep on her shoulder. Stupid vampire...She thought to herself, muttering obscenities under her breath. Well... we'll be there soon...She thought to herself.

Alucard drifted into a deep sleep before he started shrinking into a smaller crow, which caused him to lose balance and fall forward. But his tiny claws got caught in Loralei's shirt and he was left hanging upside down. He shrieked in horror and tried to pull himself up, only to discover that he had wings instead of hands. He was completely terrified and thought he was under-going a terrible nightmare, "Aaaahahh!!!! I wanna wake up!! Help!!!"
He flapped his wings, trying to get up from his position, "Help!!!"

Loralei's eyes widened as she tried to pry Alucard from her shirt. "Oh my God, Alucard!" she struggled to think of something to say, then decided against saying anything at all. Instead, she took Alucard in her hands, and petted his head softly, shushing him with words of calming. "This has certainly gotten hairy..." she muttered to herself.
Loralei unfurled her wings, heading towards her home. "Don't worry Alucard... I'll protect you..." she held him close to her chest, all the while singing lullabies and soothing his frightened form.

In his adult form, he was fine with being a crow. He thought he was still in the dream world, but it didn't make sense to him that he should be so shocked about being in the crow form now. His little heart raced as he watched watched the world rush by him. He wanted to cry, but he was too petrified to do much of anything.

"Don't worry, I'll find a way to change you back... I just have to get to my spell tomes is all..." Loralei whispered down to Alucard, feeling is little heart beating rapidly in his chest. "You need to calm down, you'll make yourself sick. Didn't I tell you that I'd take care of you?"
