themightyjello Designated Hero a shotgun that nearly took my arm off the first time I fired it. 9-guage? Iunno. It probably didn't help that I didn't have it pressed against my shoulder when I fired, because that was the very first shot I'd taken all day. That thing kicked hard and the guy in charge just laughed. If I actually had a camera with me, I'd take a picture of the bruise.

I've almost been knocked on my a** by a shotgun before. No bruise, just a shitty choice in footing.
And bolt action rifles neat, but lever action rifles are fun.
I've never fired an assault weapon before. It saddens me.

[.. X ..] and anything that makes you a playa playa. You get to have the Thick Fake Mustache, then. But beware, being such a playa carries a terrible curse.

You must never stroke the mustache. While others might, you must not give into the temptation.

The last time I went shooting I had a bruise on my shoulder for a few days.
But that was after like 150 rounds with a 12-guage and no pad.

Designated Hero Oh, it was awesome. Sweetness.I made that gun look good. What was that? 15 round clip? *Guesses by the size.* I'd bet they didn't let you put it on full auto either.

That's how you're supposed to hold it, I guess?
I don't know, felt weird, so I switched it up again after that picture.
Fifteen rounds, yeah. They wouldn't let us use full auto OR three round burst. The only thing I could do was switch up the crosshair.

You're supposed to hold it by the guard and away from the magazine.
But it's hard to argue with someone holding an automatic weapon.
EDIT: M16's aren't automatic anymore. Unless that was an older one.
