Moonstone shrugged. "Perhaps a little." He was unused to girls being interested in him. And he wasn't keen on this one.
Bode threw her hands up in the air, relaesing the little bird ansd letting it dissipate. "Yay! Onyx is going to be my taste tester! Not even the servents will do it anymore!" She stood up and kissed her gaurdian on the cheek, then jumped off and ran to find Moonstone.
I did not take her long to find the white winged feline. And she promtly threw her arms around his neck and squeezed tightly. "Moosnstone!" Then she stood back and pouted. "You aren't being very nice!"
Moon lifted an eyeborw, but smiled. "I'm not? Well then, miss Bode, do tell what I'm doing wrong."
"You're stealing!"
Aella leaned back on her staff, nodding. Then she remebered something. "Onyx, I just remebered. Tarathiel has given me Ironsides to give back to you. He's at the palace." She smiled. "See? I told you I'd get him back for you."

"He's awake, journal scribbling last time I looked. And yes, I told him about Raziel, and as I recall as I walked away he was voicing his joy over knowing his name once more. He really is a cute little thing." What? he was after all... For a moment her eyes looked up perhaps is if she would be reading the position of the sun or moon if the two existed down here. Checking the time with habitual actions accompanying it. "He's waiting for Nerian to come back still...he should be back soon." Which was good because he was bringing back things she needed as well. Then a casual look over to the other, then a chuckle and a loko back to Malik. "Seems little Bode is back as well...this place has turned into the local inn. Privacy lacks sometimes..."

Kat wondered around some. finding that most rooms were open and free of company. She sighed, someone to hang with would have been cool. She had been wondering for soem time when she came to a small balcony, where she could look down and see the place where she had met Moonstone and the others. She saw that moonstone was still there on the floor but a little girl was with him. She thought it looekd rather cute. But frowned when she thought he probably let the little girl play with his tail. Maybe she would sit down and watch. She sat off to the side and pulled out the small leather sketch book she kept on hand. And she drew The small child and the large creature.
"Stealing she says?" Kat's eyebrow rose as she looked up out of the corner of her eye.

"They'll be fine. they'll stay a few days, the girl will be hopelessly after one of the twins, bode and her father will move on in due time, and so will teh twins. hell maybe they'll move in with bode and simon. and that's good. at least we know he's not a real threat unless he falls in the wrong hands."
Malik was reading over the translation, walking up towards thier room as well as Kieran's.
"Though I think I'll have Broog work with that new weapon/armorsmith. I'm sure his etching skills can make so fine works of art from any weapons or armor tremor makes."
Onyx perked up a bit. if he coudl have been happy he woudl have been.
"the palace? you mean in Deepwater? or are you talking about where you are staying? and is he alright, not like underfed or hurt or anything? in good spirits? knows that we didn't abandon him or anything?"

"I mean it's not that it bothers me...makes this whole place seem less big and empty...I guess you've rubbed off on me a bit more on that issue." She shrugged lightly, following up after him about two steps behind. "And right, so you can let up on the little guy and let him be the information sponge that he is. I think it's cute...but that's me." Oh she had quite the bit to muse over didn't she. "Let's see...slave trade, Zephmares, weapons and armord...at least we know we can make money down here...and that money here is steel..." She let two fingers hook under her collar. "So, anything useful there?"

Moonstone was taken aback. Stealing? Adrenaline hit his stomach, but in a much more different way then before. "Stealing what?"
"Onyxs's emoshons!" She stamped her foot, that pout all over he face. "You aren't supposed to take what's not yours! Mommy said so! She said it was wrong!"
Moonstone didn't really know what to say to the girl. But she had set him down a path of giult all of a sudden. He..."I though Onyx had given them to me." His ears, tail, and wings all drooped.
Bode hadn't thought of that. She shrugged. "Well now he wants them back. Which means you are stealing them." She gave him a glare. "Can't you find your own emoshons?"
Moonstone stuttered, looking into the eyes of this hopelessly innocent girl. "Well...I..that is to say that..."
She pouted. "Moonstone is being mean."
He looked around at the others in the room. Was she right? was he...stealing these emotions from his brother? He didn't know what to do, he had only just begun to feel like he was finally getting hismelf together, finding out who he really was...
Bode grabbed his hand and pulled him up. "Come one! We haveta talk with Gaurdian Onyx!"
Aella smiled, finding Onyx's concern somewhat charming. "I haven't seen him yet, But I am sure he is in the best of care that the palace can give him a the moment." She thumped her staff on the floor, making the bells ring. "I'll help you go get him and bring him over later on." She rubbed a hand down her arm. "But Ma says I can't be out too late."

Kat tried hard not to stare at the little girl and Moonstone. Steal his emotions? Given them... what the heck was going on? She was fiercly curious as to what was going on. She snapped her little book and hurried down a close set of stairs. She kept well behind the pair making sure she kept herself hidden. Sh emay not be the best at sloothuing, but she usually dida pretty good job of sneaking around at home. She watched as the little girl led them to another large cat, and woman. She kept herself conceled, watching intently.

Malik nodded lightly.
"All true. and there are somethings of use. but for now lets get thatcrates melted down and made into money, will convert gold to steel when we can, and lets not forget that you and I still have our things to deal with and take care of."
That last was said with a small smile and an affectionate kiss, pulling her to him for a moment.
Onyx smiled lightly, and nodded, waiting for Moonstone and Bode to come.
"Thanks Whirlwind. that means alot. I don't abandon friends, even ridable friends. and who's Ma? the Oracle? still staying with the Captian, huh?"
A bit of a frown at that. he didn't like that, since he really didn't trust Tarathiel at all.

Bode pulled Moosntone into the dinning room with Onyx and Aella. "Bother Moonstone has to give back what he is stealing! 'Cause it's not right. mommy says you make up for the bad things that you do." She pulled him along, pretending to talk sternly, smiling at Gaurdian Onyx the whole time.
Moonstoen had a worried look on his blood splattered face. He didn't really want to give these emotions up though. And really, Onyx had willingly given them back to him. He was starting to feel a tad threatened...with his brother there...Aella with her staff...what could she do with that anyway?
Aella chuckled. "Yeah, the Oracle. We had a fight once about...well never mind. But I told her she wasn't my mother. Since then the joke his been to call her Ma." She smiled. "I think the Oracle is rather fond of it now."
She nodded. "Tarathiel takes good care of us. Although he isn't usally home."

She smiled up at him for a moment before resting her head against his chest and nuzzling at him as she would usually do in affectionate manner. It felt good to let him be close, to let him hold her. "As in a possile wedding thing, a you know what, and various other deals we have to make among each ourselves as we make this place ours?" Rheotroical really, more of listing than questioning. With a contented sigh she laced her arms around him, looking up at the dark elf again. Then she laughed in that paticular way of hers. "Though I'm sure you have enough old steel lying around here to give us a fortune." Packrat tendencies.

"yes, all that..and you know it woudl be a shame to melt all those useful things down though."
holding her against him and leanign down for another, lingering kiss. and a small smile to her. it was nice to do that again with risking her jerking away or tensing like a scared rabbit.
"Adn we'll get everything covered in due time..you know..come to think of it. after all our time together..are you taking some kind of surface elf birth control?"
A slight chuckle, but an interesting question. how was it in twenty years she hadn't gotten pregnant once already?
Onyx saw his brother come in, and knew the look.
"That's worry, Moon. And don't be...What you have isn't yours. and I want it back..but..I have a theory that might get us both what we want. if your willing to listen. Whirlwind and I dicussed ti and thought it was somethgin to address."
He motioned for Moon to take a seat, and picked up Bode, putting her on his lap.
"You don't want me to be empty, anymore than you want to be. Face it, what happened was an accident formed in anger. but I may have a feasable solution."

"I bet you have some thing in doubles and triplicates down there. And who knows what else the you before you added to the pile." A nice little moment there were having her weren't they? Until his last comment just made her all out laugh, leaning her head against his chest a moment. "I guess that would seem a little strange to you, being a Teir'dal and all." Ah yes, it was a fine example of a difference between thier two respective elven subraces...but Malik probably didn't know that. "Well...that's not uncommon really...surface elves have a low fertility rate compared to Underdark elves." She shrugged lightly. "I guess that would be a lucky thing or no?"

Bode giggled, smiled, and rubbed her cheek against Onyx's fur. Wow! It sure had been a long while since her gaurdian held her! She had forgotten how soft her was! She smiled happily, content to sit and listen, or not pay attention and fall asleep, which ever came first.
Moonstone frowned. This sounded a lot like a set up. Was that suspition? He was pretty sure it was. He stood, took a bit of a step backward. "You gave them to me. However angry you were, you emant it when you gave it to me." Uh oh...was that...panic he felt?
Maybe he'd listen...maybe it wasn't so bad...maybe maybe maybe...he was not particularily certain. You had better hurry up and talk Onyx, your brother is two steps away form bolting.

Kat sat, her feet stretched out into the halway, her back up against the wall just outside the dining room door. She didn't really need to see after all. She had her sketch book open, a picture of the woman in a cloak drawn in. Kat thought she was rather quite pretty. She stole a quick glance inside at the other large black cat. She flipped the page and began to draw him as well.
Hmmm, whats all this about the emotions? Perhaps one can feel and one cannot... and they seem to haev switched somehow. This was so interesting to her, she didn't know such things were possible! she labled the picture Onyx, as that appreare to be his name, she gave him a slightly worried look to his face. And thought it rather suited him. She flipped the page yet again and began a picture of all four persons together.
This place was awsome!

Malik gave her a devilish bedroom grin.
"I guess when we do get all settled in and everyhting in order...we'll just have to try harder for children, won't we. provided you want some, of course."
A chuckle though at the though of poor Kieran listening to that all the time. of course, Kieran woudl probably be keeping record and seeing if Piper ever shouted anything in drow.
"and hopefully your father might like a grandchild to spoil someday."
Onyx knew the flight or fight instinct when he saw it.
"I told you before, my emotions were always very strong, I had to repress them alot. what I'm suggestign is we do whatever it was we did..and this time..instead of trying to take or force everything...see if it can't be doen to split this emotional energy between us. make mine more managable, and you get to keep yours."
