actually global warming explains the cold weather too, the polar ice caps are melting causing higher water levels and more percipatation also there causing this causes the climate to take durastic changes such as 19 degree weather in AZ

Actually, to be correct this cold weather is due to La Nina. It is the opposite of El Nino. El Nino is when the waters near the equator are warmer than usual and it results in warmer temperatures. La Nina is when they are colder than usual and it results in colder weather than usual. This is the fist year of this La Nina cycle, and according to trends in the past, the first winter of La Nina is warmer than the next two. If this trend continues for this La Nina, this will be the warmest winter of the next three years. Next year will be even worse and I don't even want to know how cold 2013 will be. Cooling is not part of global warming. The correct term is global climate change. The earth goes through cycles of hot and cold. In fact, I don't think the polar icecaps are melting right now. They are having below freezing temperatures. If anything, they have more ice right now than in the summer. =/ Al Gore's scientists don't provide all the facts. They pick and choose what data suits their theory. That is like saying we went through global warming when the Ice Age ended. I'm going to stop there though because I hate arguing with people over something so stupid.

And Dance is correct it is because of La nina. Global Warming is unproven and a method used to control people. Scientist have no reason to explain anything it's a natural cycle the earth goes through. And do you know the whole population could fit in Australia and live perfectly fine with proper irrigation systems? Yeah, blows your doesn't it. The government is a bunch of lying dicks who make up crap in order to control people.

There is nothing wrong with being a liberal, I just said I was starting to think everyone on gaia was the kind that flips out on you if you don't believe in global warming and letting the government tell you that you can't have more than so much salt. =/ Plus, I'm tired of being flipped out on just because I'm a conservative. Do you know how annoying it is when people find out you're a conservative and they start saying you believe that murdering babies is right? It is very irritating and I don't even agree with abortion. I think it should only be legal if the pregnancy threatens the life of the mother. D: And who says conservatives don't have an open mind? Last time I checked, this is all about how much power the government has. Chicago politics are corrupt and have no goddamn business being in DC.
Also, I never said anything about pollution. I just said that there is no such thing as global warming. Don't be putting words into my mouth. I'm not even going to comment any farther than that because it is just plain ridiculous that you managed to twist my words into something irrelevant. Oh, by the way, farting is pollution. Yeah, there are idiots out there who are trying to claim that we should cut down on livestock because methane gas is bad for the environment. The chemicals used to make new paper out of recycled paper also pollute the environment. Why don't you let that soak in for a bit. Yeah, recycling and being human both pollute the air.
EDIT: Yes, you brought politics into this by putting words into my mouth. I never once said there was anything wrong with being a liberal.

I have no one sided opinion. I believe in global warming to an extent, as well as abortion. I believe if a woman is rapped and therefore gets pregnant she should have the right to choose, who wants a child who will remind them of that day for the rest of their life? But if they are just to lazy to take care of the kid they should be put on death row for abortion. I think if a family is not financially stable that the government should take the child upon it's birth and not charge the parents to do so. It is bad enough the parents have to give up their child if they can't afford to have one, but paying to do so that just hurts even worse. Global warming I think is real in the sense that yes it is only a matter of time before PART of the atmosphere gets eaten away by the pollution, will it flood the world and cause massive earthquakes and shift every plate on earth and separate on their fault lines, I believe not. Is it possible for the polar ice caps to melt, of course it is, is it likely to happen within next year, I don't think so in fact I believe we have a better chance of some retard who doesn't know how to make changes one at a time and get everything done in the long run instead makes all the changes at once and turns our country into a s**t whole. OH ONE MINUTE THAT"S HAPPENING NOW!!!!
Sorry I am stopping my rant before people realize how much I HATE Obama and what he has done to this country. Does anyone else think it is Ironic that the world is said to end in 2012 and our first black presidents term ends in 2012?

I'm on the right. And I have nothing against Obama nor am I racist. I don't agree with his policies or what he is trying to do. He made a lot promises he couldn't even keep, and signed a universal health care law that was going to harm our falling economy even more. He has made america seem weaker by apologizing for every little thing and bowing to the chinese president (In Asian culture, when you bow, you are showing how weak your are).
He said he has created jobs but that is not true. The unemployment rate rises slowly and the current people on employment aren't even trying anymore.
The social programs set forth by FDR may have saved us but look what it has done down. And Obama is expanding Government to finally take hold of the people and turn this into a socialist country. We can say goodbye to our free trade if he is reelected.
