LabTech Kestin Odd. I've never heard of a situation where telling one's parents improves anything. But if it's good for you, well, then...that's good for you. 3nodding Your parents must be abnormal, but in ways I bet we all wish ours were. xp My mom's a counselor, so she knows the truth about depression. If I had parents who blamed me for this s**t I don't know what I would do.

I see...I mean, when I think of People Not To Confide In About Personal Stuff, parents are usually at the top of the list, but if your parents are talk-to-able, then more power to you. They are the ones controlling your life after all, so it's good that you can tell them stuff and actually expect them to be helpful 3nodding

My history teacher is a verifiably bad teacher. He's not mean or anything, but he sucks at teaching. Some of the kids in the class have been talking about complaining to the history department and appealing grades. The problem? My parents won't care. Crappy teacher? Just making excuses. Successfully appealed grade? Manipulation. Letter from the department? Should get over it and do everything right regardless of whether the teacher can actually teach. There's no way out. There's no way to get a good grade in this class, nor is there a way to get my parents to accept the fact that there is no way to get a good grade in this class.

That is, if I like my avatar the way it is. Right now I do. Sometimes I'll have to keep changing it because I don't like something about it.
