Well, what I've noticed about sacrifices in stories, is they aren't easy to find, and they never come and openly fight the person wanting to make the sacrifice, so i must say enki is doing the right thing.

Shouyin themightyjello The hell of it? EVIL MOONBLADE ring a bell? Well this one is more of an EVIL(ER) SHOUYIN in which souls are demanded. Enki souls. If you have a problem with his desire to off you, talk to Maxi. You mean GOOD(EST) SHOUYIN. He'll be made a Saint for this.
@ Enki: Only one water guardian though. Nocturne's seal is of shadow.
Water is the only element that can dispell shadow, thus why your blood is needed.
Racism has nothing to do with it; guardian of the water element is a title, not a race.
Discrimination maybe, but it's not Shou's fault the seal was made that way. Water is needed... then why EnkI's BLOOD. When he's human, Enki is HUMAN. I don't think you know the history of the guardians that Ed and I loosely came up with, but Gaia didn't look to highly upon Enki wanting to be human and all. And yes, Guardian Spirit of Water IS a race. Enki just chose to become human at some point.

AcaciaDamia Just leave him alone Shou, if he doesn't want to sacrifice his character for the sake of someone elses storyline then he doesn't have to. And he does make a good point, why does it have to be Enki specifically? Of course he doesn't. If somebody doesn't want to get hit by a car so someone else isn't, they don't have to, but when the driver is aiming to run them over anyways, unless they stand and fight (rather than complaining at the bumper), they're gonna get run the ******** down, and look pitiful as it happens.
Like you said yourself, it's someone else's storyline; they said it has to be Enki, so it has to be Enki.

Jesus. Died with the intent to save the human crises from sin, so that we could gain entrance to heaven. He was a willing sacrifice by bible standards if not by bodily. I don't know about you, but I've never spoken to jesus, so for all we know he might have gone to the cross smiling.

Just splashing water on the seal isn't gonna do anything, even if God pissed in it.
I know you're getting the short of the stick, but this s**t's already been decided, it's your blood that does the trick. This isn't ******** chemistry, it's magic. The blood of the Water Guardian is the best water there is, Enki's physical make-up doesn't change that.
I've seen Enki turn into a big thing of water, and however human he is he can still summon a tidal wave; don't you think that's pretty special for a human? If anything, you fall under meta or elemental, which is to say the magic is still in you, unless you're saying there is nothing special about Enki at all, and he couldn't clean up a puddle without a mop.
Is there more than one Guardian Spirit of the Water? 'Cause it sounds pretty singular.
