"Yeah," Kiara said, following Ginji, examining the pokeball which held her serviper while she walked. An interesting development, no doubt, having a snake pokemon. Useful, she could tell. And perhaps, with time, they could get along. For the moment though, she'd have to think up a suitable name for the creature. Nyoka, perhaps, or Ajax. She'd think on it later.

Inside the HQ, the portal glowed and Kiara appeared, looking somewhat disoriented by the experience. She shook her head briefly and made for one of the chairs. Seconds later, the portal glowed again and Satan came bounding out, yipping excitedly.

"Fine, if you call getting jumped by this fine," Kiara muttered, standing up and tossing the pokeball. An extremely disoriented serviper appeared. "He launched an attack at me from in a tree." The serviper, which Kiara decided to name Nyoka, hissed and launched his severely weakened body at Kiara in a still-quick attack. Kiara jumped back, grabbing the creature's pokeball and recalling Nyoka as she did so.
"Quite obviously, he did not want a trainer and was merely looking for a fight," Kiara said dryly. "I seem to have annoyed him by catching him."

[TRICK OR TREAT!!!!!]
Shuppet soared into HQ and spotted the bucket of Rare Candies. Immediately, he swooped over and plucked one off the top. As he flew back to the corner to eat it, a teleportation flash catches him by surprise.
"Nope," I tell Shuppet flatly, "the last thing I need is a more powerful prankster." While my ghost stares in shock at my sudden appearance, I deftly reach out and snatch the candy away from him. "Metang is getting this one."
[So? There's a whole bucket of 'em right over there! I'll just grab another.]
"Not if you're stuck in a pokeball." I tag Shuppet with the return beam of his ball.
[Nooo--] His telepathic complaint is cut off as he disappears.
"Now then, I understand this place has sprung some leaks? I'm no aquatic engineer, but I can at least start finding the cracked seams. Golduck, Phione, and you too, Mantine! Let's get started!" I head to the docking bay and let my three pokemon into the water. "You guys know the plan. Xatu, I need you with me when they locate a leak."
"Xa!"
"Gol!"
"Phii~"
"Maaannnt"
My pokemon all nod in agreement. Three of them swim out to start their work, while Xatu and I start working on the inside.

"Well, at least he can't cause nightmares," Kiara said, thinking about the dark pokemon. "Although I feel this is more of a case of Nyoka here having a short temper. I hope he will calm down soon." Kiara sat back in one of the chairs, letting her arm hang over the edge. Satan sat down beside the chair and Kiara absently began to run her fingers through his coarse fur.

"Mm? Oh, hi Reaper. I'm going around HQ to mark the leaky seams. I've got some water pokemon swimming around outside looking for bubbles. If water is getting in, it means air is getting out. Makes it easy to spot the leaks that way."
Xatu and I go off to another room.

"Happy Halloween." Ginji smiles as he teleports into HQ. "I wonder what we should do for this holiday..." he wondered as he ate some candy corn.

Kiara walked in, having left the chair sometime last night. She glanced around and saw no one, but heard a noise in the kitchen, so she walked on silent feet over to the door and stood leaning against the frame.
"Morning, Reaper," Kiara greeted him. For once, Satan appeared to not be with her. Instead, Aquarius, ever silent, floated alongside her.
