You're telling me! D< My worst days are tuesdays, though. They're gonna be the hardest of the week. DX
As it is, I get to my first class at 12:30 PM, but get out of my last class of the day at 7:30 PM. And on top of that, that last class, that is three hours long(?), I'm the only first year; Everyone else is in their fifth, sixth years... I'm the class baby, the n00b. D'=

I understand you, Osaka! D< Those long days are the worst, but at least you start later. My first semester, I had class from 8:10 until 5:30. o____o
I'm the school baby, too. ;____; Most of my classmates, in all of my classes, are in their mid/late twenties, often times in their thirties. One of my good friends graduated high school the month before I born. Dx
Okay. School. Talk to you guys later!

Last year, first semester,on mondays,I had class from 9:30am till 9:30pm nonstop D8
Well, I had two half hour break at noon and 5pm which I took to go grab some food and eat in my second half of the class. It was 2 six hour class.
But yeah, I feel you two! I hate(d) it when you're talking a class where everyone is a couple of years above you. It happened to me in my first year.... 6 years ago O-o.
Why are you taking a class with so many old people in it, Osaka?

I'm not sure, actually. =0 Most of them probably have it as a requirement. -shrug- And if not, they're probably taking it optional.
It's like a minor psychology, more or less. Human development. =_=
I hate it, though. The professor just talks, and talks, and talks... for THREE hours. D< And it's like, there no change in his tone or disposition whatsoever. I, who sit in the second row of seats to the left, from his point of view, can hear the boredom in his voice. >>

Yeah, the general ed classes usually have the largest range of ages. In my Japanese History class (it's required for Asian Studies majors) there were mostly seniors who needed it to graduate. We had three pregnant women in a 20-person class. o_____o
I will never not be amazed by the length of some of the classes you guys take. o_______o Three hours? SIX hours? The longest class I've ever had was, yes, three hours, but it was a Japanese class (they require the most time) that only met twice a week for eight weeks, so we needed every moment we could get. Usually, during fall and spring semesters, Mon/Wed/Fri classes are an hour/hour and a half long, and Tues/Thurs classes are an hour and a half/two hours. Doesn't go longer than that unless it's a special case.

Holy crap Lone O______O SIX!?
My longest class are the chemistry labs that are once a week and they're almost three hours long. Most of my classes are one hour and half, except two that are fifty minutes.
Oh I feel the same way in my chemistry class .x. There are a couple who already graduated and are doing their master's and they were forced to take the course. I feel so stupid there >.> We're probably like a third freshmen but still >.>
On a happy note I have English today~ I get out at one and then I head home! >w<

Three Hours is the normal length of a university class here, but they aren't twice a week, it's once a week. Like, I'll always have my Evil In Society class on Tuesday Nights. It won't come back in the week.
Some classes will come twice a week for only 1:30h, but there's really not a lot o-o. I think only Languages and Math are given twice a week for an hour and a half... and there's some entry level classes like that too... I remember psych 1000 and Socio 1002 were twice a week, but those are the only one I can remember. Usually it's 3hours.
The 6hours ones are the Master Degree-level classes o-o.I had two the first semester, one the second and I have another one this September.

Typhoons aren't a big deal in Japan. o____o Not like hurricanes in the States. Even in the storm warning areas, people go around and carry on with their normal activities.
We're just getting the edges of it, which means rain and a bit of wind. =D Fun times.
