"Prepared for you to kiss me on the forehead. I've been up and stressed for way too long and that was way too expected. I think you "broke" my brain there for a second. It wasn't a bad thing to do, I just wasn't expecting it."
He lets the breath out loudly.
"Really, really wasn't expecting it. You surprised me, that's all."

And by brain malfunctioning, I mean on the emotional level not the intellectual level. It wasn't a real problem, just shock. ::Nyx faded in, and sat on the floor. She had her hand concealing her nose from view, and a thin layer of her own blood coating her mouth and chin, the bulk of it dripping down onto her lap. Though looking to be in a great deal of pain, she giggled to herself. Clearly she found the bloodloss very amusing.::
Owwhahahahaowhaowhaha... ow... yay... shiiit... heehee... ::Her voice sounded as if her nose was being pinched.::
::... No, she isn't drunk this time. Really.::
