Shagatsu walked back into the teahouse with a sad face, sat down buried his face in his hands. "She left..." He said outloud.

Tora's eyes grew wide and her heart sank. Although she knew, she asked anyway. "What?" she said with tears in her eyes. Her breathing increased and she felt light headed. "Why?" she said as her bottom lip quivered. Her hand clutched her chest.

He didnt respond, he just sat in weeping silence, slowly wetting the light tablecloth underneath his arms.

Tora walked over to him and scooped him up in her arm. "Oh, Shagatsu, I'm so sorry," she said crying. She hugged him tight, and would, until he pulled away.

Shagatsu gladly wept in her arms for a time untill he realized he was wetting her Kimono.(?) "...I'll be fine..." He said with a small smile, wiping the tears away from under his eyes and hugging Tora tightly again. He pulled away and began to go get a glass of tea. "Excuse me for a moment." He said with a smile and went to wipe off his face.

"Of course," she said sadly. Her heart ached that Omny would do this to him. "Did she mean for this to happen? Was this her plan all along?" Tora thought silently.

Ariku smiled to Tora then realized Shagatsu broken as he entered. She listened and just sat there with her hand over her mouth. That's sick...she thought to herself, Poor Shagatsu.
"Oh my gosh Tora." she said with tear in her eye. She was always so weak when it came to her friends being hurt.
"You think he will really be okay?" she asked wiping the tear from her eye.

"I'm not sure," she said in a daze. "He'll hold it in, that's for sure. He wont want to talk about it- so we shouldn't push it," she added. Tora squeezed her eyes shut to hold back the tears. "Damn that girl!" "We just need to be here for him when he does want to talk...," she trailed off.

Shagatsu walked back out with a glass of tea, his face perfectly composed. He sat down and looked into his glass for a while before slowly speaking.

Tora looked up at Shagatsu, confused by his words. She placed a loving hand on his. "Shagatsu-san, I'm here for you if you ever need to talk," she said lovingly. "I'm here for you as a friend... as a sister," she added with sadness in her blue eyes. "What was her reason; or did she not leave one?" Tora asked with sternness in her eyes. She wanted to get to the bottom of this so Shagatsu could be happy again.

Shagatsu slowly lifted his head to level with Tora. "I have been left with nothing.... It comes as a surprise to me that I saw no signs of it before..."

"Shagatsu-san," Tora gasped, "no one saw this comming!" she said trying to comfort him. She hugged him again. "I'm so sorry," she said in a soothing voice. "Damn you Omny! What have you done?" Tora squeezed back the tears in her eyes to stay strong for Shagatsu.

He smiled and gently wiped the beginings of a tear from under Tora's eye. "Like the beginings of seasons, all must come to pass with time. We all must deal with the death and tradgedy of winter to see the life and beauty of spring. Do not worry, I will be fine. Even the decay of fall has beauty inside of it, you see, Its not until you lose everything that you are free to do anything." He said with a smile, tears running down his cheeks.

Hearing his words and Tora's expression she slowly felt her eyes fill more before she finally let go and the tears streamed down her face.
She took a deep breath, "Please Shagatsu-san let me fix you some of the special tea my Ojii-chan and Obaa-chan gave me. I'm sure it will make you feel a little better." She said with a warm smile.
She went to the kitchen made some tea. She returned and pulled a small packet from her kimono she poured it into the pot and mixxed it. She poured some in a glass for them all.
She smiled again wiping her face. "This should ease the pain. At least for a moment." she said reassuringly as she brought it to her bright red lips and took a sip.
