I kept my Japanese history textbook because it's interesting and worth a reread or two just as a book. I like putting together a personal library, though the textbook-textbooks are kind of a waste of space.

I still have my biology book even though I only had one class of it (which I barely pass o-o) and never will open it again, but dammit, I paid 180$ for it, I'm keeping it >>

Or, if you're smart, you can sell copies from scans from it to newbies. ;D

So I was angsting about my lack of money, and instead of wallowing in history-themed humor like I had intended to do, I wrote my resume and applied for a job. o____o My own productiveness startles me.

Just earlier today, I washed all the dishes that mom had been putting off. =w=
She's been really tired these days, so I should help around more. But still, they were a LOT of dishes, and furthermore, my arm even kinda aches now at how hard I had to rub the sponge thingy to get out some 'Pegao'! D<
Don't worry, Fanta would understand what I mean. It's basically burnt rice, and it sticks to the pan. So yeah, that's why it's called Pegao. Stuck = Pegao "Pegasus-oh" =w=
And yes, Fanta, Pegao. That s**t is HARD to get out! D<
I don't understand why she insists on cooking it, since I don't like it, and when my brother was around, he didn't like it, either! D'=
But now that that mini rants out of the way, what job? =D

What a good daughter! ='D I never did. Hell, I rarely do it for my roommates. I have washed my own dishes about 3968634 times in the past week, and my roommates' stuff is still sitting there from a week ago. D<
Stuff that's hard to clean sucks. D< -pretending she knows what's going on-
It's a library assistant job, at the Tokyo American Club. My roommate works there, but I have library experience, more than her, and I need moneys, and it pays REALLY well. D< I'm not sure if they're still hiring, though, their ad was for summer employees and summer's almost over! o_____o
I like libraries. Working at them, rather. =w= You get to organize things and all that fun stuff, and everyone there are book people, so you can be quiet and socially awkward, and it's OKAY, because that's what librarians are! D<
It would also motivate me to read more.

@Loli: My, what happened that you eneded with a resume o-o.
Also, this was my most expensive book. I also my Introduction to Psychology was 120$. All the rest of my books are usually between 40 and 60.

Scientists, man. D< They get made fun of in high school for having geeky interests and so they get back at all of us by charging extra for their textbooks.

When I move in with my roommate, which will be sometime soon, I'll probably be the same. I'm not exactly a clean freak, but put me with other people that might be even messier than my father, and everything pretty much goes to hell. D<
You know how some rice sticks to the pan when you cook it? Yeah, that, but on purpose. =_=
I like organizing and categorizing stuff, too~
Although, I don't know how I feel about having to know where most of the books go and stuff. Barnes and Noble are usually so big and with so many books, I frequently have to ask for help there. =w=
Also, librarians are hot. ;D
Does that mean you'd be a hot librarian, too? =D

For the most part, you learn the layout of the library pretty quick. You have to put the books away, afterall!
I'd love to be a hot librarian. D< But I wouldn't be. I'd be an awkward, uncomfortable librarian's assistant. The dweeb sister, if you will.

But, I've got news! =D
I am now watching the first episode of Doctor Who, with Billie Piper, as Rose, obviously, running from some mannequins...? Yeah, I don't know which Doctor this is. xD
Furthermore, I can ask you, then. If there's only like 5 seasons, what happened to all the other Doctors? D=
