What if your character walks around with a knife for protection? Then I hope your opponent doesn't snatch it away from you. Because them using it against you is perfectly legal right up until they drop it.

If you think hard enough, you can remember when I said the tournament was hand to hand. But you shouldn't bother carrying a gun. It won't do much for you. I am all for people getting shot 9 times and then becoming one of the most successful rap artists in history. punching your face in because all it did was make them angry.

correct.
there are no judges laying around who are going to watch each and every person, but breaking the rules ic [picking up things and beating someone with it] is allowed. just make sure the person can't get away and find a judge. it's like... running to go tell a cop. if you don't dial 911, nobody'll know. don't let him dial and you're fine enough.
