i have no idea. i know the rules he previewed had a time limit between posts and a 3-post count on submission holds, but i don't know about a definite ending date for the tourney.

[.. X ..] i drew a femme nude. it wasn't as creepy and funny and gigglesome as one thinks. I've done both, neither are really what you think about when making jokes. It's just drawing something, nothing more, nothing less. Though that was one fugly femme. And the dude looked like Steve Martin.

You aren't allowed to run from your opponent. It gets you a disqualification. So if they show up, and you aren't ready.. tough s**t.

So if they show up, and you aren't ready.. tough s**t. So its like KoF, no powers? No special techniques, just fists? How about weapons like...the bar stool? Garbage can?

You are not allowed to arm yourself for the fight. Not mid-fight either.
What this means is.. you cannot pick up a weapon and go looking. Nor can you pick up a weapon to turn the tides.
If you do.. I suggest making sure your opponent can't communicate with anyone IC. Or that there isn't a witness to your actions who tells the heads of the tournament.
Otherwise you'll be disqualified.
The only excuse for you having a "weapon" would be if you were for whatever reason.. in the middle of cooking.. and they attacking you while you were already holding the butcher knife.
If it's in your hand, or you're wearing it at the time of being attacked.
You can use it.
So yes.. it is purely h2h.

So you join, and then you go about your life basically and you are basically open to combat with whoever runs into you. And are able to beat a** with anything you have on you. BUT, you cant pick anything new to use as a weapon. UNLESS you make sure the person cant tell a judge. So does that mean the judges dont just "know" whats happening, they have to be reported too?

The judges only know results.
They are not policing anyone.. because they'd have to be all over gaia, stalking people.
And that would be silly.
I thought about the concept of giving people some kind of collar or bracelet.
But I operate in the modern world.. and that is just ridiculous to me.
using your hands (since you are supposedly a trained martial artist/hardman/street fighter) will take priority over most attacks anyway.

If someone tells the judges IC what happened. Then you can expect to be disqualified.
Your only concern is other fighters seeing you and figuring out who'll snitch and who won't.
The tournament is "covert" to an extent. So for all some bystanders know, you are just two people who had a disagreement or are insane. Meaning no NPC can report.
Unless you get crazy and end up on the news. In which case I hope you weren't using a weapon.
