Lunora looked up at the wizard sadly. "Is this story going to have a happy ending? I don't like sad endings..." she mumbled to herself.

Demetri ruffled Lunora's hair softly. "Don't worry. Well, eventually, the wizard had to go back. He arrived back at the castle, and he entered the fox's room from the window, hoping to just catch a glance of her. She was awake, and first she hit him again, and as he was about to leave, she told him he was an idiot and to never scare her like that again. I'll save you from all the details, but they kissed and made up. From that point on, they were always together. Through many hardships, but there was good. Within a year from then, they had twin boys. Later, those boys both married and each had a son. Both of those sons married, and one had a daughter, and shortly after the wizard and the fox had a daughter themselves. So, yes, there was a happy ending. And still is. They're still alive, and they and their children still live and teach at that school."

Lunora smiled some as the story was ended on a good note. "That was an awesome story!!" she said, happily. Needless to say after she went to sleep, she had nightmares about Fester. Who wouldn't?

Demetri smiled to himself as Lunora went back to sleep. He watched her for a bit before drifting into the same light sleep he'd been in before.

It didn't take long for Lunora to sit up quickly, with a small scream. Right after she began to cry loudly, scared from the nightmare she had just had. Fester was one creepy old dragon and it had gotten to the poor child.

Demetri was woken up with Lunora's scream, and he didn't think before pulling her into his lap and wrapping his arms around the child. "What happened? A bad dream?"

Lunora cuddled close to Demetri, sobbing into his arms. "H-He's gonna eat me! Help me Demi-chan!!" she cried, obviously scared.

Demetri immediately hugged Lunora tighter, running his hand over her hair in a reassuring motion. "It's alright, it's alright. Nothing's going to eat you. There's nothing that can eat you while you're here. I chased him away, and he's gone," the wizard repeated. He had no idea what Lunora was talking about, but he'd learned from experience that pretending to know exactly what they were talking about was better than trying to have them retell what their nightmares were of. [OOC:] I'm really liking this side of Demi...

Lunora sniffled and nestled into Demetri's arms. She calmed down a little as she rested in his arms, soon falling back into a fitful, quiet sleep.

Demetri watched Lunora's fitful sleep for a bit before he drifted back to sleep again, the kit still in his arms. He didn't move in his sleep, where he sometimes tossed and turned. He just stayed perfectly still, comforting the fox's sleep.

Lunora rested easier the rest of the night in Demetri's comforting embrace. By morning she was shaking the wizard. "Come on, Demi-chan! Wake up!"

Demetri woke up easily, and he raised his eyebrows at Lunora. "Ready for breakfast?" he asked groggily.

Lunora nodded some and sat on Demetri's stomach. "Come on Demi-chan! You promised!" she whined, lightly punching his chest.

Demetri sat up now and ran his fingers through his hair. "Promised what?" he asked the little kit, unsure of what he'd agreed to.

Lunora pouted, puffing out hr cheeks in irritation. "You promised, Demi-chan!! You promised fresh pastries for breakfast! With strawberries too! You promised!!!!" she said, half yelling, half whining, half about to cry. Had her new bestest friend broke their first promise to her?
