Demetri put his arm around the little girl, pulling her into his lap. He wrapped his arms around her, kissing the top of her head. "Well, I can tell you a story. I've got some pretty good ones, if you like action."
Razz followed Yumi diligently, and once they were back in the castle, he rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, I guess good night," he said, hedging.

Lunora cuddled up to the wizard. "Ok. Can I hear a story, Demi-chan?" she asked, looking up at him, smiling some.
Yumi nodded some, kissing his cheek. "I'll see ya later." she said, giving him a wink. Seemed she also inherited her mother's ways of cruelly teasing those silly enough to fall for them.

Demetri smiled. "Once there were two brothers. They loved each other very much, but one day, one of them was taken away to go to school. He was a wizard, and when he went away for training, his younger brother was very sad. He didn't want his brother to go, and it made him angry he couldn't go with him. So, he started to try and learn magic so he could go and join his brother in the far away school. But everytime his brother came to visit, it was never enough to join him. One day, a huge golden dragon came and visited the younger brother. He said that he'd give him so much power that he young wizard's apprentice would be a full-fledged wizard in no time."
Razz watched Yumi go, then turned and headed to his own room, his hand on his cheek and a goofy smile on his lips. [OOC:] The story will continue in the next post, I just didn't wanna make this too long.

The little Luna sat in front of Demetri, hugging the pillow more as she listened intently to his story. She liked stories.
Yumi smiled some and headed to her room. She needed some sleep!

"So, the younger wizard agreed readily, wanting to be able to join his brother. However, one day, the other brother came home and saw just what his sibling was studying. He was frightened, and he knew he had to do something. So, he asked his brother to stop what he was doing. But the brother didn't understand. He thought he was doing exactly as his older sibling was. He thought that his brother just wanted him to stop so that he could be the only wizard in the family. It made him very angry that his brother would do that. So they fought with their magic. Of course, being more experienced, the older brother won their fight. He knew that his younger brother was a threat to his family's safety, so he trapped the other wizard in another world, along with the dragon that had corrupted the younger one.
Of course, the dragon figured out a way for himself to transport out of the prison dimension and back to our world. What nobody knew was that the dragon had entered the wizard's mind, trapping him and gaining complete control. While in the prison, the dragon twisted the wizard's mind so that he wanted nothing more than to have absolute revenge on his older brother. Many years later, the two brothers fought again when the elder one came to the prison dimension in an attempt to reason with his brother. Defeated again, the younger brother stayed trapped. He'd only succeeded in placing a curse on his older brother to portray the wizard's true age outwardly, which is strange for immortal wizards.
So, the old man of a wizard began a school in which he trained other magically gifted students. Two powerful demons came and became fellow teachers at the school. These two demons were brother and sister, and often stayed separate from their headmaster.
Even through all of this, though, the dragon continued to watch his captor, and train his fellow inmate, always ready for an opportunity. Of course, he found one. He stumbled across other dragons, and he stole one of their young, magically manipulating him into a creature that would enchant one of the wizard's favorite students, a young faerie-demon hybrid. She adopted the creature, and using him, the dragon kidnapped the faerie. Of course, the three teachers banded together and went to the prison dimension to rescue their student."

Lunora seemed to be very captivated by the story, watching Demetri very closely as he told the story. She reacted accordingly to the story as well, gasping here, cheering there, and the like.

"But when they got there, the faerie had been mind-controlled by the dragon as well. She didn't want to come with them! She attacked her teacher herself, hurting him severely before being trapped away in a cage. The brother demon fought with the dragon, in an attempt to retrieve the faerie and take her away. But the demon sister fought against the younger brother. He tried to kill her in the fight, but did not succeed. By the end of their fight, she had won, and the demons took their hurt wizard and brain-washed faerie home to the school. The faerie felt horrible for hurting her teacher, and she saved him from the brink of death, even reversing the curse of age that his brother had put on him, turning him young again.
However, she still wanted to return to the prison and help her new ally escape. The older wizard was able to concoct a potion that removed the mind control, and she quickly returned to her proper state of mind.
But this story isn't about her so much, as one of the demons. The sister, to be specific. She was a powerful fox demon, with a very sad past."

Lunora still listened, again cheering and gasping at the appointed times. Lunora perked up at the last bit and raised her hand. "I'm a fox too!" she said, seeming excited she could relate to the story. Boy was she clueless...

Demetri chuckled at his audience's outburst, and he nodded, but didn't comment. "She was inside a temple one afternoon, a very special temple, and was not having a good day. The younger wizard had finally escaped his prison, and he transformed himself to look like a small child, younger than you. He wandered into the temple by mistake and came across the fox. He pretended to comfort her, remembering their battle, and she was easily convinced of his act of being homeless. He took her to live in her room in the castle, and he continued to live with her for days after. Every evening, when the fox went to bed, the dragon would come to visit his little puppet, and they would plan what they'd do next. One day, the dragon realized something that his puppeted wizard did not. The wizard had begun to sympathize with the fox. He felt bad for her, and he was getting attached.
So the dragon ordered him to kill the fox demon, and soon."

Lunora gasped some and growled. "That mean old dragon! Someone needs to teach that mean old reptile a lesson!" she said, readying her small fists.

Demetri chuckled at Lunora, smiling some. "Well, the wizard just knew that he wouldn't be able to kill her, and he told the dragon that. It made him very angry of course, but he let it go for then. So worried about what he would do if the dragon turned on him, the wizard went to bed, completely forgetting to turn back into a child. In the morning, the fox discovered the wizard in her room, and both of their brothers came and captured the younger wizard. He was then taken in by his older brother, who was able to release the mind control. His brother forgot why he wanted revenge.
But while in his younger brother's mind, the older brother discovered something very curious."

There was a little twinkle in Demetri's eyes as he opened his mouth to continue. "The next evening, the fox demon would be having her rite of passage. Her brother had everything set up for her, and she was as ready as she'd ever be. As the festivities began, the younger wizard wandered around like a ghost. He was unsure of who he was anymore. But when the dance that the fox was to perform started, he was right there in the crowd. As the fox began to dance, he came to a realization. He was in love with her.
At the end of the dance, the wizard struggled through the crowd in an attempt to catch the fox. He caught up to her easily, and after much procrastinating, he managed to confess his feelings to her.
She slapped him."

Demetri paused for a moment. It was strange to hear her say that, when she was the one who did it... But that was a grown up Lunora, not this little kit. "But remember that the last time she'd encountered this wizard, she'd been betrayed. First he tried to kill her, then he tricked her into believing he was a child she could tell her secrets to. She didn't believe him in his confession.
However, her reaction was not at all what he was expecting, and it broke his heart. He ran away from her then, and he went to another world, like the one he'd been trapped in. He was very unhappy, and unknowing, the fox was hurt as well. Her brother found her, and all he managed to get out of her was that something bad had happened with the wizard. So, he and the wizard's brother assumed that the wizard was evil again, and they set off, determined to find him. They found someone who was able to travel to the other world, and he did so, but he was unable to convince the wizard to return."
