:::she thinks of how to explain it:::
well, it is not uncommon for a child to use such a word when describing an object. Adults use much more useful and utilitarian adjectives to describe their surroundings and objects. A child does not yet see the frivolity in describing something as beautiful.
:::She's satisfied at the moment with her explination, she waits to see if Luke has anymore questions:::

*Luke takes that in.* Soo..... *thinks, then starts back up* If someone on your planet was attracted to someone else -- how would they tell someone they want their body? Would they say *Luke adopted a Star Trek like voice* "You look optimal for mating" .. or what?

*Cora had never spelled it out before, but like a light bulb turning on.... It all came together. That was why Cora didn't know what sex was. Cora had never played around or had "fun" before. If there was no physical attraction... It made sense to him for the first time.*
Oh, that's bullshit. That's impossible. There's no such thing as a place without physical attraction.

:::she sees them both react similarly...in their own way:::
You both seem so unnerved by the idea, but if you think about it, I'm sure it will make sense to you. All physical contact was abolished many hundreds of years ago, the reason being that proximity of any kind spreads disease. Also, as far as procreation is concerned, joining genetic samples from two pre-ordained specimines is much more beneficial to the human race. It works both ways... I did not know anything of physical contact when I came here. There is no hint, from birth to death that such a thing as physical attraction exists in my world, and so, it is easy to imagine that no one regaurds it as such, or as anything at all.

Oh...my body is considered asthetically pleasing in your times? Compaired to what? :::the whole concept still boggles her. The thought of one type of feature being more attractive than another was still way out there:::

ehhh! :::a little aback...::: So people are actually attracted to one another simply because of the shape of the bodies they are present in? That seems a bit odd... I am attractive...so then you both are attracted to me?
:::She smiles, wondering just what kind of knowledge/power she's stumbled upon:::

:::She looked over::: and you, Luke...?
