The Door once stood proud and strong, held against all odds against all storms, but alas came the day when a flood washed away, the pround and mighty door.
((though it still stands, it forever will be blemished with the faint smell of defeat))

But not what happened to my beautiful phoenix marked door.

...The Red of Rebirth, quenched by raging Blue of Hate, Ne'er to fly again, the Phenoix falls, its feathers drenched, and the people lament, for help came to late.

Poetry is not an addiction, it is the bane of all the true writers...
It is a disease that captures the soul, and claims it until the day the expression can no longer be found, for the sound of that unique voice will fade, asthe light of life fades from the eyes, and the breath of the great wind dies within the chest, and nothing more shall become of the host.

I should RP more, but nel is too busy not being killed by his son to do anything interesting....
Oh, and Nel's son is 300 years older than him... oddly...

*pokes* you're actually really good, Azarieal.
I rarely write traditionall stuff, every one thinks poems have to ryme....Gosh, I hate writeing ones like that, I have to have a bloody dictionary just to write three stanzas. lol

I just let things float out of my head. Poetic or not, it just is. Frankly, I dont know how I get poetic at all, but so many of people I hang around with for long enough claim to have seen it.

Poems have one thing that make them poems, rythem... hear the rythem and follow the beat, and allow your fingers to guide the way, let your soul charge forth onto the page, and fight for the meaning it wishes to convey.
