I like Sora, I tihnk he's just adorible. (not jumpable though) Squall and Cloud are enough for me.

I have almost all of the dalmations. ^^ *shines nailes* I am proud of myself. Got top go back to monstro though, missed one there.

^^ Beleive me...I want to give....and I think you'd very much like the things I have in mind...but firts! Finish the game. And....maybe a bit of food too.

Sounds like a very good plan.

Me...I'm out of video games, beat them all. Unless I go play Legend fo Zelda...but technically I beat way back when on N64, so really again, no games.

I shall content myself with character art and writing. Hm...may have to switch to my desktop if I'm going to CG anything.

I just constantly replay my old games.

I think I'm going to do FFVII again when I'm done with KH. (I may or may not run out and get KH2....maybe pray and get is used for 20$ bucks cheaper)

^^ I would like to see the fruits of your labors.

I trade my in. They're never as good the second time around for me. You can probably get a preplayed by now, seeing as some people beat the thing in three days. Just have to hope they turned in copies.

And of course you can see, fruit of that sorts is good to share.

It never seems to grow old with me. Plus, my circulation takes so long that the game is almost like knew anyway.

I've played FFVIII like, 20 times. (though never past one part in disk three, cause the damn thing stops working. Thank god I saved before Ultimicia, or I'd never be able to see that ending again.)

YAY! Apples!

Whatever you get your fix with.

And my symbology fails me...need to think about a symbol to represent noble or high standing.

Trying to be sun-esk, or a crown....think brain think.

I always thought a rose was quite classic.

Pegasis (although...considering is origins I'm not so sure)

I've seen winged boar's used rather well.

Yay symbology yes?

I think I may have come up with one. *pets her and Holly's brains* Good minds.

*purrs* My brain feels happy.

What'd you come up with?
PostPosted: Sun Apr 16, 2006 5:12 pm

Circle with some fancy light representation. I'll continue to tweak it till I'm happy but it's one of many projects, I'll put it down and come back later.

noble or high standing according to what kind of culture?

for example, dragons are noble to some, monsters to others.

the rose is oft a symbol of love, not nobility.

somethimes the bull is a noble sign, as a symbol of strength.

or the snake, as a symbol of intelligence.

the wolf as a symbol of leadership.

manytimes the lion, as he is the 'king of beasts'

You just jumped right in there now didn't you? *pets* And it happens to be elves for this book. High elves, though they may not be called that by the end, they're still the snobby ones.

High elves usually use the winged unicorn, the pegasus, birds of prey or trees such as the oak with celestial connotations. such as in LoTR the White tree surrounded by 7 stars.

Othertimes they use symbols directly reffering to a diety the worship. such as in EQ/EQ2 where the symbol of Tunare is 9 dots, (often the amount of stones in the famous Druid rings) in a certain pattern.

for example, a royal house might have the emblem of a rearing unicorn as it's symbol, but the unicorn will be surrounded by the nine dots symbolising Tunare.

Pegasus doesn't have a horn. (Re: greek mythology, the son of what's her face...Meduca.)

Isn't learning fun?

Though I'm trying for simplicity, don't want it overshadowing my other designs.

But you have given a good idea with the dot thing going on, I may have to put that it...it would make what I have going better and look more like I want rather than the equal armed cross and circle I seem to have going.
