gonk Ok, now they say I need to exchange the modem but that can't happen until Monday. Since I have less than an hour left on my roaming and I don't want to go over, I guess I'll leave another message then. So until Monday... This is a real drag. crying

And then there's those of us who have RL issues and then the occasional out of commission comp. Well the only thing you're good for is Mastema's big ol' shield as target practice for my cannons.

Axl and a lot of my other characters are more dependant. Though really it would be no different than packing a character with SMGs, RPGs, and plasma cannons or slapping on several layers of heavy duty armor on someone. I hardly see how a "machine fashioned to kill" fits into what you connotate as a "regular".

As a vetran member, as well as the guild captain, people tend to overlook some of the stuff you do. And not just you, other characters as well. Vetrans seem to be able to push the limits more then other people can, just because everyone knows them...not because they're a better roleplayer, but because they're friends with everyone. Oi...three weeks sober, I'm a grouchy son-of-a-b***h.

I suppose that is true in most cases, at least. It's pretty normal for people to be more comfortable with people pushing the limits on things when they're better acquainted, but I agree in the respect that I wish some things were less power oriented. I'll try to observe it better in the future
