He doesn't answer. He continues running until the house is quite near, then flings the lamp up onto the roof. He stops running as he does this, and tumbles to the ground, panting. Running is not something he does often.
A wolf streaks out of the trees and slides to a halt beside Nat, growling low.
Another one leaps at Edan in an attempt to bowl him over.

"Why was it so expensive?" She looks at Kaila.

Edan is so busy staring up at the lamp that he doesn't notice the wolf. He is promptly knocked down.

Nat curls up into a ball, shielding his face with his arms. He peeks out as his wolf snuffles at him, growling and slobbering.
Edan's wolf is also growling. It drapes its body across Edan.
A man soon comes out of the house! It's Darren. He looks his guests over. "So you've come back."

"Nathaniel says he might be able to help us communicate with Edan. He'll try."

He nods. "I couldn't.. say no to that. You know?"

"Did something happen?"

Edan blinks at the wolf then looks towards Darren. "Hello."

She sighs and nods. "Yes. Hopefully he'll be happy there this time."

"We went up into the middle of nowhere through the snow. He then kidnapped some people. That could have been trouble."

Darren grunts. The two wolves back away from their victims, tails tucked and ears back.

Nat slowly gets to his feet. He doesn't even bother knocking the pine needles from his pants. "Angelina could not deliver me herself. This is my escort, Edan." He gestures.
"Why were you running?"

"He said you would just worry."

"I told him to have Bradley call us when he's feeling better. We'll see how that goes."

"What happened?" Big eyes.

".. Please, sir." Nat drops to his knees and huddles there when Darren snarls at him.
