Well, he'll be a relative of Artie from his deceased mother's side, his cousin. But I'm not sure what kind of ability he should have though. Why not be a normal person? I said Kamen Rider. :U And the answer is, why not? Because you should put actual thought into a character. Not just put something in because it sounded cool. That's a critical sin of good writing. What will Artie's cousin bring to the table? Is he even fleshed out in your head, or do you just want him to be a Power Ranger (I know it's not the right word, but I'm sticking with it) because it sounded it cool? A costumed hero is fine, but they offer nothing story wise, they are a waste of space and time. I wanted to enter my old OC which is an cthulhuian eldritch spawn into this RP, but he would add nothing and I don't see a point to it. There should always be a point to someone you make so they don't fall to the wayside as just some other fancy one time spectacle. It's similar to Chekhov's Gun, if it has no redeeming point, don't do it. Don't force something. It's kind of like the shipping problem we have in the RP. I love a good ship, but I feel like we might be forcing some of them (Sorry Cherry.)

For me, RPing is something I come to enjoy, so my characters end up being something I find interesting or cool. If you are going to correct me on how I want to make my characters, then at least refer the ideas the way I referred them, as in KAMEN RIDER. They may have both been made by the same person, but there is still a distinct difference between them. End of the matter, I will make my character how I want, and whether you think they "bring something to the table" or not, I really don't give a flying fart about it. I don't critique your characters, so don't you ever critique mine. RPing is supposed to be fun, not a chore, so get off your high horse and think about it for a while.
