She was uncommonly quiet as she entered the bar, already removing a rubberband from her hair. With the ponytail loosened, her ebony locks fell past her shoulders at a natural length. She slid the rubberband onto her wrist and adjusted the midriff of her shirt.
Without a word, she slid onto a bar stool and leaned against the counter, crossing one leg over the other.
