Well everyone start your modeling. I don't know if I will be abl eto finish mine because I won't be able to get a trip up to my hobby shop until next sunday.

I need to wait 4-6 weeks for more jewelry sawblades before I can finish my modeling, so I guess I'm out of sync with the time table.

DartStriker Ouch, does anyone want to extend the dead line? I would say yes, I think it might make it a tad easier to participate and be able to get the models done for those who are waiting on parts or tools. Poll this perhaps ?

well many players don't even know what the Emperor even looks like. plus Death to him cause right now i just played the chaos egion of Death Guard. so death to the false Emperor.

But why should people need to know what the emperor looks like? Do anyone know what God looks like? The Imperium is not run by the emperor, he's more like an icon and is used to navigate while ships are in the warp/immaterium, the rulers of the imperium is the 4 high lords of terra. :B

The Imperium is not run by the emperor, he's more like an icon and is used to navigate while ships are in the warp/immaterium, the rulers of the imperium is the 4 high lords of terra. :B The thing about the emperor is, people already knew what he looked like because he lived among people. I hate to reference actual religion here, We mostly try to avoid the subject, hard to do with this game, but The Emperor has the Jesus effect going on, He lived, he died, he "rose" (ascended into god hood) and according to the fluff he's gonna come again (the star child) and as such there are people still around in the Imperium who knows what he looks like because they have met and perhaps spoken with him. If many players don't know what the Emperor looks like, then they don't have the core rule book. He is right there on page 126-127.
