As we pull up to the okiya- (a countinued conversation)
"Aki-chan Remember to make you family proud. Do as you are told and don't make any burdens for others." says mother....
"Hai.I promise to be very good and work as hard as I can to make you and family proud." Akime says.
::Enters the Kazenotanpopo Okiya::
I wounder if anyone is home. ( Akime says as she takes off her geta and slips her feet into the house slippers.) Slidding open the screen she steps in and quickly closes the door behind her.

Hearing foot steps approaching her, Akime comes to a stand still and waits for the people of the steps to come. Bowing her head both out of respect and shyness she says in a quiet and little shaky voice, " Konnichiwa. My name is Akime- chan. Hajimemashite. I hope I will learn quickly and be of much use to you and others here at my new okiya. Please be kind and I will try my hardest to help in any way. I am very new to everything so any advice on what is expected would surly be aprieciated....." As her voice comes to a stop she bows lower and then straightens some but dosen't dare look up out of fear she might affend some one. ( post 2 )

" Hello Akihime-chan. My name is Yuri but you can cal me Yu-chan if you'd like," Yuri didn't like making her self seem high up even though she was a maiko so she let anyone she met call her Yu-chan but only if they wanted.
" Welcome to the Kazenotanpopo Okiya." She reached out a hand with a warm smile. " You don't have to be afraid to look at me actually, you don't really have to bow either."

I am very happy to be part of the Kazenotanpopo Okiya. How long have you been here yourself? Must have been awhile since you are a beautiful Maiko now.
Our you my older sister or onee-chan? :: It would be so nice to have such a kind and beautiful sister::

Yuri giggled " I haven't been in this okiya very long I moved here from another to train to become geisha."
She smiled warmly.
" I am not your Onee-san but I can if you'd like me to be." She walked down the hall motioning for the new Maid to follow her.
Once she reached the room where she would be staying she opening the door and fetched her bedding and a dark blue cotton kimono.
"Akihime-chan this is where you will be staying," she paused letting out a sigh." With the other maids. You will be needed to help the geisha and maiko get ready for the teahouse on occasions. you have daily chores that will need to be preformed unless they were already done by one of the maiko or one of the other maids that live here."
Yuri hated business talk she was more into leisure but all the same it was what she needed to do.
' you must call mother Okaa-san at all times no matter what. The Maiko are all different and you might have to ow to them but to be cautious bow to everyone," She gave a gleeful smile " well except for me unless there are guests in the okiya."
She stood up and held out the kimono and obi for Arihime to take.
" Well I believe that is enough business now, that the serious stuff is done you can come join Sakura-chan and myself in the garden."
Yuri was happier having fun and realxing with her friends and well anyone from the okiya she like to be at ease rather than uptight all of the time.

Tora was roused from her meditation at the sound of the door, footsteps, and talking downstairs. She drew in a long breath and looked at the clock on the wall- she'd only been there for five minutes; however, in meditation it felt like an hour! She closed her eyes again in preperation for the ceremony of Shagatsu becoming Hara's danna. As head geisha, she had a duty to the new maids, but a geisha/danna ceremony was far more important. She lowered her head and whispered an apology to the new maid- even though Tora knew she couldn't hear her.
((OOC: Where are those two? I'm gunna be stuck in this office forever! gonk xd ))

" Domo arigato gozaimasu Yu-chan ^_^" She puts down her bag in the corner of the room she will be sharing with the other maids and walks back up the hallway and to the garden. " It is so beautiful" Akime says The flowers seem to be all in bloom as the Spring is coming. There are even some sakura trees here as well. I know that I will like it here a lot. She goes to were Yu-chan and another maiko/maid (sorry....not sure never said wich) and sits down. She waits till they finish what was being said and then introduces herself to the new maiko( I think Sakura-chan was her name....). The conversation countinues ^_^ (post four)

" Akihime-san this is one of our newest maiko ad on of my best friends Sakura." She smiled.
" Sakura-chan this is Akihime-chan she's the new maid."

Yu-chan, if I may ask, why do maiko get moved from the original okiya to a new one? Do the okaa-sans think that they will do better in another setting?
Thinking about if one day she also might get moved to another okiya. Ahh... but not the right time to be thinking of that. After all I just started as a maid and have a long way to go.
