"And you really mean that, don't you?" she said softly, looking at her hand n his heart. The action that she had done to him what seemed like ages ago on the beach. Here in fact. Morgan looked back up at him and of course she was filled with regret. That the one person she wanted to be with in the world couldn't be hers now, and the magic had had her turn to another.

"Yes..." he wispered, and leaned forward slowly to kiss her on the cheek. Rivven followed it with a light kiss on the other, and one on the lips, which he held out a bit longer before moving back again. This was probably a bad time for both of them, but he wanted to show that he would keep his word, that even if it kept up this way, they could come through it all right.

"Then this is the most luck I've ever had in my life," she leaned in and kissed him hard, passionatly. Wanting to forget about the past few days, even the trouble she was having with Mordrid. When their lips parted she told him "You're the first person I've met I've actually wanted to talk about my past with."

Rivven was breathing hard when she pulled away, and he smiled, shrugging embarassedly. "I'm... not really sure what I'm supposed to say right now..." he said, laughing at himself, and met her eyes.

"What you should say? You've said everything and more. What person doesn't want to know that they are loved, especially after they...well, it's everything I wanted. I'm a little scared to lose it, but it just feels so good to have you by me." she had caught her breath enough in saying that, and pulled him into yet another kiss.

Rivven put his arms around her when she pulled him in, and returned the kiss, passionately. He couldn't tell her that right then, he was a little scared too. Maybe more than a little. But he knew that as long as she loved him, he wouldn't give up, and it was time to move on if they were ever going to. He'd hold the kiss for a long while if she allowed, and rub one along her back as he pulled her in closer. It felt so good to be with her, and as much as he shared her sentiment, he didn't want her to have to be afraid of anything. I know it can't be so, but let all the burden be mine... as much as I can handle, I would take all I could to help her. She shouldn't have to suffer this sort of thing. No one should, especially not her...

((have to get going, I'll be back in 2 hours I think)) Morgan rested her head on his shoulder after a little bit, then said "You've seen the morning part of the curse. It deals with me as a human and emotionally. At night it's more, the magic inside myself that I was accused of corrupting. Tonight I'm going to show you what happens, explain to you the other side of this. But it was always the morning half that I was afrid of."

Rivven quietly looked at her with concern. Was there really even more to her curse? He knew how horrible it was to do something you loathed, and have no control over your body or mind while you did. He had after all spent nine years that way. Rivven looked out over her shoulder at the ocean, and sighed, kissing the top of her head, and gently leaned his atop hers. "I can't believe you'll have to put up with this all your life... nine years of something I think I could compare to your day curse somewhat, and I know I couldn't stand to have it happen again. You're strong, to live with all that. I hope I can find a part of that in myself."

The old ways have been good to me. Given me a son, and made me beautiful. Words that she often had to tell herself when yet another problem arose. Two people she had already parted with since she came here to Black Amber. But Rivven would stay, she believed him. "I think you already are strong, you're staying, you've defied them and that's the first time it's ever been done. You think I'm strong? I've had years to deal with it though."

Cloud led Quin to the beach, taking the salt in the air as a wake-up call.
"Sorry about that, I didn't know Rayne was there with someone. I find it's best not to disturb those kind of things."
She laughed and took a seat in the sand near the shore line.

She gave him a puzzled look and laughed.
"Y'know, I have no idea. But there's still a way to sober up."
She gave him an evil grin and stood up as fast as she could, running to the water and jumping in. When she came up she let out a holler.
"It's cold" She laughed.
"But refreshing none the less."
She laughed and waved to him.
"C'mon in!"

Eyeing the waters and their dark depths he disregarded all concieved notions of survival and treaded the water. "Cold yes, life threatening maybe, fun certainly."

She splashed him with the cool, salty water.
"It's not like the salt is going to seep into your body and eat you alive."
