He shuck his head and dodged the Goldeen that was going to peck at him. He glared at the two headed fish. He gave a mighty cry before using fury attack, some of the attack missed but he got in three hits.

He followed her gaze... and then sweatdropped when he realized she was watching Rex. 'Well, he didn't really strike me as being terribly desirable, even from an objective point of view, but I suppose some women enjoy the innocent type.'

Once Jet got in the hits, he knew where to look and wasn't confused anymore. The goldeen was finished. Jet smirked as he glowed. He grew larger and got a larger beak. Trinity looked amazed at the Fearow. Jet let himself be returned as Trinty walked to the Gym Leader's stage. Misty looked down to her and smirked, "You won't find me so easy to beat. Who are you going to send out? Go Staryu." Misty said tossing out the Starfish Pokémon. Trinity smirked back to the other woman before motioning to Shadow to go out in to the field.

Shadow rattled off his Moveset via telepathy, since he didn't want to let Misty know what he could do: Quick Attack (turned into a Dark-type move and boosted by his Obscurate ability), Metal Claw, Power-Up Punch, plus his Aura Flare technique. He also mentioned that he could feel his Aura shifting lately, as if preparing to learn a new attack.

The Staryu was knocked all the way to the bottom of the pool. It came back and Misty commanded it to use Water Gun. Trinity glared at the Staryu before saying, "Now time for a Metal Claw after you dodge the water gun."

The Staryu gave a cry as it fainted. Misty gasped at the power displayed by the Lucario. "You've trained him well." She compliemtned Trinity as she sent out Starmie. Trinity smirked, "He didn't need any training from me. he's just that good." She said. The Starmie used Rapid Spin. Trinity was amazed at how fast it was going but knew Shadow had a move that he could just for the spinning star. "Shadow, quickly Aura Flare!" Trinity said hoping it would work.

Shadow allowed himself a small smirk at the compliment before focusing on the battle at hand. Sure enough, a well-timed Aura Flare knocked the Starmie away easily, allowing Shadow some breathing room as he watched the opposing Pokémon with cold, calculating eyes. He could feel his Aura adjusting once more, feeling himself on the verge of learning a new move.

The Starmie grunted as it hit the wall. Trinity then looked at Shadow, "Ok finish it off, Shadow, any move of your choice." She said trusting him.

Shadow complied and rushed forward, somehow managing to run on the water in a sort of skating motion; even as he did so, a pitch-black sphere coalesced in his hand, swirling with dark power. Once he was mere feet away from the Starmie, he threw the black Aura projectile forward, and it slammed straight into Starmie's gem - a direct hit, and super-effective, too, from the look of things. At the same time, her Pokédex beeped, and the "???" in Shadow's moveset was replaced with the name of his newly learned move, Dark Sphere - "Other Information Unknown".
(Sooo, for the next Trauma checkpoint you have two options: a Restraint bonus to certain situations involving Team Rocket, or a joint Trauma/Restraint checkpoint that involves an idea of mine called Wild Forme. mrgreen)

If he forgets a move, he cannot use any variations on that move unless he later remembers that move. Improvised, observation-based, and instinct-based moves take up moveslots, but variation moves do not. - Dark Sphere (Instinctive): Dark Sphere is similar to Aura Sphere, but is super-effective against Psychic-types and Ghost-types, normally effective against Dark-types, and even less effective than a normal Aura Sphere against Fairy-types. Should Trauma rise above 60, Shadow will become incapable of using it due to the corresponding increase in his Aura's instability.
