This notification doubles as a list to make sure Nocturnal gets your tanks added, so quite required. We use this thread to make sure we don't miss anyone.
You know, if you stick around another day instead of just running off, you may be in for a surprise. This has been a deceptively quiet beginning of a busy month here.

I'm not sure if I should start out smaller with my first tank, but in any case, I'm happy to be here. There's a few options you can consider. #1 - Write in your siggy what fish you are questing, watermeats are hard to sell so there's a chance someone contacts you with a good offer of even donate. #2 - Get a low-trigger tank to begin with so you get a bit of attention in the aquarium forums. It might sounds strange but "lazygrabbing" is quite popular. Opening a game and do something else and collect the bonus, no effort, 500 gold to both grabber and tank owner. So long as you bump up your glows you could get 5 players (only the first 5 get the bonus) every glow, giving you a minumum of 2,5k for every 5 players during one glow. If you do this I recomend Jellyfish as they glow the most of all low-trigger and grant items. (Pure tanks usually do better) Make sure you put what fish you have and "lazygrab for bonus" in your bump thread. #3 - Get a mini monster tank. If you do this I recomend the alpha grams. They have the same life span as Lightning Bug, Lacebacks and Walkers but Alpha Grams have a higher glow trigger, meaning more will glow together during one glow, giving you more gold in the end. Don't buy them if they cost over 12k though, someone always list lower sooner or later.

That's exactly the type of advice I was looking for since I knew I couldn't start out with pure meats, thank you! heart
I was an avid grabber when the game first came out but I've stopped for a long time since. I've only recently got into it again and I've definitely been thrown out of the loop as far as what profitable fish are. (Though meaties were and always have been among the best :0 )
I think option 3 appeals to me the most since a full tank of them will be at most 204k, which is cheaper than 1 meat, and a much more attainable goal.
Do you know of any threads I can join after I get the tank together that want alpha grams? ^^

Do you know of any threads I can join after I get the tank together that want alpha grams? ^^ So that's why you wanted the meats, sadly they aren't popular at all these days, some people who weren't playing BG in the "watermeat era" even thinks of them as lite fish rather than the gold dropping kind. However they live for 6 months so there's still profit to be made now that gaia lowered the price on them. Pm the captain, Torment_Desires and she can add you to the public text thread. Check the subforum Thread Invites and see if you can find a good thread there. You can also check these ones: Fabulous Bootyful Booty [CONTROL CENTER] and [ ADDING TANKS; invites inside~! ] Royal Tenrag centre, both accept alpha grams. If you keep an eye on the market place you could get all alphas for around 10k or less, every now and then the listings sink down to 8k per gram. ^^
