"Sounds good. I'll be right back." Dante headed up to his room to change. Hmmmm what to wear he thought as he searched. He decided to go with the new clothes that he bought.
He came back down stairs after he changed. "So how do I look?" he asked Victoria. He chose a nice blue button up, a pair of dark blue jeans, and a new pair of blue and black Vans that he had bought.

Aria stood there a little suprised by Daren's boldness. She really should try to catch Dante, but he was probably partying it up or at least about to be. She'd just catch him tomorrow.
"Uh sure okay. Why not?" Aria replied.
She stepped beside Daren and began walking.
"So did you just like move here or are you just never in this part of town?"

Daren grinned at her approval and walked beside her, not to close, but not to far away either. He had had experience with girls, and knew a lot of them wanted their personal space. He shook his head. "I'm usually not in this part of town. My mom wanted me to pick up some bread for dinner, but she can wait." He stared at Aria, his eyes sparkling as he said this. He glanced up nervously at the sky when he heard a clap of thunder.Victoria felt a sudden chill in the room when Dante left and she shivered. When he came back in and asked her opinion she watched him for a moment before nodding her head and smiling brightly. "You look great, but you always do." She didn't mean it as a flirt, so she hoped he didn't see it that way. She blushed red at the thought and glanced at the door. "Ready to go?" Her next words were high.

Aria heard the thunderclap and impulsively grabbed Daren's hand.
"I do not want to be rained on."
She ran with him until they reached a small cafe. By the time they got in the tiny place, it was starting to pour.
"I uh hope you like coffee." Aria shrugged.

"Thanks I try my best." Dante said in a sarcastic voice. "Yeah, we can get going." He heard a crash of thunder before he walked towards the door.
His mother walked in the living room. "Take the car Dante. I'll get a ride from Beth. No need for you to get wet." she said tossing him the keys. "You know you that-" his mother stopped him. She shook her head and walked away. "What ever." he drug out the two words. He turned to Victoria, "So are you ready?"

Daren held in a chuckle when Aria grabbed his hand, but it felt...nice. Her hand was warm, and they fit perfectly, as if they were made for each other. He ran with her to the cafe and shrugged when she made a comment about the place. "Coffee's fine. I can pay for you." He pulled out his wallet and nodded at the menu. "What do you want? After you order you can go find us some seats." He flashed his pearly whites at her, feeling a small warmth grow throughout his body. Victoria watched the tense moment with Dante and his mother and she stood off to the side when he snapped at her. She felt awkward and very small, and suddenly she felt like some fresh air. When he asked her a question she heard another clap of thunder, and glanced out the window. She saw a flash of lightning and muttered, "Maybe we shouldn't go.." She didn't have a fear of the rain, she just didn't take a like to lightning, for fear of being electrocuted.

Aria blushed slightly at Daren's smile.
"I'll just have a grilled chicken sub. They're delish. Oh, and I'll pay you back."
She walked over to the far corner of the small place and sat down at a booth nearby a window.
"I may ate being rained on, but it is nice to look at."

"Even if I drive?" Dante thought about her and then mentioned, "We don't have to go. We can just go grab dinner instead if you want." He wanted to go to the party, but even if he did go, it wouldn't be the same. After all, he would have to drive home, which meant he couldn't drink. To Dante a party wasn't a party unless you drank. "I'm sure my friends would rather have me spending time with you instead of taking the risk of getting in trouble."

Victoria shook her head, feeling the need to go now, to make him happy. "No, I'm ready. Let's go anyways, it's a good night to go." She bit her lip and opened the front door, and waited for him. Daren told this to the cashier and gave her them money, and then grabbed the food after a few minutes, found Aria, and weaved his way through the tables and chairs, making his way towards her. He sat down and pushed her food towards her, and grabbing his own coffee, taking a sip. His eyes bugged out when he burned his tongue, and then, panting, grabbed a napkin and wiped his mouth.

Aria laughed at Daren as he frantically wiped his mouth.
"I'm sorry....It's just that...okay nothing I'm sorry for laughing.."
She tried to contain herself, but laughter erupted from her once more. She walked over to the counter and requested a water. She grabbed it and sat back down, taking giant gulps.
"Sorry again. It's just that it's better when it happens to someone else. I've burned myself one to many times, but the coffee's good right?" she smiled.

Daren didn't glare at her for laughing, but instead laughed himself, waving off her apology. "Nah, it's fine. I've burnt myself countless times as well. It's a habit, really." He grinned at himself and thought her laugh sounded like gorgeous, ringing bells. He tilted his head slightly and leaned in, his eyes curious, his coffee now pushed to the side and forgotten about. "So what do you do? As in, jobs? Your occupation?"

Dante ran out to the car to avoid getting wet. He unlocked the door and quickly got inside. He motioned to Victoria to come and he opened her door. He started the car and revved it a couple of times. "Alright. Let's get this show on the road." Dante said as he took out his phone. He put on the gps and asked, "So where do you live?"

Victoria ran to the car with him, out of breath by the time she closed the door, and her hair was slightly wet. She heard him ask her a question and she panicked. God, he would know where she lived now! What if they had a fight and he brought his buddies over to... She shooed away the thought, her eyes wide with fright as she stared at him now in the darkness. He wouldn't do that..right? She swallowed and squared her shoulders, trying to make herself feel better as she squeaked out, "It's close to where you went to the jewelry store at. It's that neighborhood with the row of apartments..." She figured she was confusing him and just settled on telling him the full address, no matter what the cost. "461 Strawberry st., apartment D." She whispered this, and glanced down at her hands, which were shaking. She glanced back up at the windows of Dante's house, the lights giving a warm glow. She leaned back in the seat and exhaled a breath, wondering how crazy the party was going to be.

Dante entered the address into his phone's gps. He put it down in the cup holder and put his arm on the back of her seat as he turned his upper body around. He slowly backed up the car out the driveway. "We need some music. Check the center compartment for a cd that you like." he said as he moved his arm. He headed in the direction that the gps gave him. He knew that around the jewelry shop was a sketchy area, but it didn't phase him though. He took the side street to avoid the lights. He hated waiting at them and he liked to speed a little. He started to go faster, but realized that Victoria was in the car. "Sorry about that." He slowed down.

Victoria tensed up when he put his arm around her, or rather, the seat. She blushed and glanced down, not watching where they were going, but suddenly felt the car go faster. She took in a deep breath. She hated cars, every inch of them. They could kill you. She felt tears building up from the idea and she quickly wiped them away, but heard him say something else. Distracted, she nodded and reached for the compartment, shifting through a few, and finally coming up with a weird CD called "Disturbed". Who was this? Having no idea what their music was like, she held it out to him and gestured to the CD player, waiting to hear what the kind of beat or instruments were.
