"Thank you," Kamaria said, moving past Irvine and taking a seat on the balcony, looking out over the grounds. "Oh. Mother thinks that Seifer is hiding something from her and so she is using the best method she has to get him to talk." She grinned. It was well-known that Samara loved annoying Seifer.

Irvine laughed as he stood against the wall, in much the same position he had been in inside. "Ah always thought Katana was a smart woman. And there's nothin' more scary than havin' a smart woman plottin' against yah."

Kamaria grinned. "Yup. We're scary," she playfully bared her teeth and raised her hands ((Think Plushi doing the Ominous Shadow)). She then turned back to the grounds, trying to sort out what she wanted to tell Irvine in her mind.

"That's why Ah always try to stay on a girl's good side. ...Somethin' else on yer mind, beautiful?" Irvine wondered. Kamaria probably wasn't even aware of how she was frowning at the landscape and nervously twisting her hands.

"Yes... "Um... I..." Kamaria cursed her hesitancy and took a deep breath, looking up at Irvine. "I wanted to thank you again for helping us... If there's anything I can do to repay you..." she left her statement hanging, having been unable to think of any suitable way to repay the cowboy.

"Hm..." Irvine tilted his head down, staring at the floor. Truth be told, he didn't think repayment was neccesary, but... It would obviously make Kamaria feel better... Just then, a fairly devious thought popped into his head. "Well... there is one thing," he said slowly, carefully checking the area to make sure they were alone.

"Ah want... a kiss," Irvine spoke up with a smirk. "One kiss in repayment fer helpin' ya and yer sister." Oh yeah, he was evil. But only a little bit and only every once in a while.

"A... kiss..." Kamaria bit her lip and looked away, hoping to hide her blush. Well, she had said anything, hadn't she? And he had saved her sister... "All right," she agreed, standing up. She was a little nervous and it was understandable. She had never kissed anyone before...

"Come 'ere, darlin'" Irvine offered the obviously nervous Kamaria his hand, pulling her a little closer, but keeping his touch gentle. "Ya don't have to be scared of me," he whispered in her ear, leaning forward.

"I'm not," Kamaria insisted, looking at the floor. She bit her lip and looked up at Irvine from behind her bangs. She took another step forward, now being only a couple inches from the cowboy.

"Yer shakin', Mari," Irvine pointed out gently. He let her hand go and used his now-free hand to brush her bangs out of her eyes. Maybe this had been a bad idea? He wasn't one to take advantage. "If yah don't want to, ya don't have to..."

Kamaria closed her eyes and took a deep breath, calming her mind and body. With such a chaotic family, it was one of the first things her mother had taught her. "...Maybe I am a little nervous..." she admitted, opening her eyes. "But I'm a Dream of my word," she added, setting her right hand on Irvine's shoulder and moving the slightest bit forward. She was now standing between Irvine's legs as he leaned back against the wall.
Another half-second pause and Kamaria leaned forward, gently pressing her lips to those of the cowboy.

Irvine's eyes widened briefly. He hadn't actually expected her to do it, but he was quite pleasently surprised this time. He closed his eyes and added more pressure into the kiss. He rested his hands on her hips carefully, trying not to scare her away.

Kamaria's eyes slipped closed and she leaned her weight on Irvine, knowing he could handle it. This felt... a million times better than she ever could have imagined. Her left hand reached up and removed the cowboy hat while her right held on to Irvine's shoulder, an attempt to anchor herself.
