oh dear....i just popped along to my shop to see how my sales are doing and had a bit of a shock when i got there!! what has happened to Gambino's skyscraper?? me thinks he must have employed some cowboy builders!

Kettyn Kids can be the funniest things and I like hearing about them...from other people. Kids and me in my future are definately a NO! I am SO with you Kettyn! I love my partner's nephews dearly, but after a little while, I need to send them back to Mom and Dad!

i''ve made a big decision today! i was booking my summer holidays at work. i tend to have 3 days off a month throughout the summer, always on earlies too because i have such trouble sleeping!
anyway i couldn''t get any days in August so i booked a full week in September, then i had a thought.. idea (oh dear, i know that''s meant to be a light bulb but it looks like a bumhole to me sad )
now where was i?? my idea..i have a life assurance policy that matures in August, hopefully i will come out with at least £8000. so with cash in my pocket and a week off work i am psyching myself up to taking an intensive driving course and getting myself on the road!
this will change my life if i''m brave enough to go ahead with it. if i have a car i can find else to live, and i really, really want to move. i live in the proverbial flat above a shop on a busy high street, no garden, no sun as all the windows face east and a noisy pub next door. with no car i''m stuck living in town, preferably within walking distance of a supermarket, also, if i found anywhere to move to, i''m totally reliant on others to help me move and that makes me feel like a loser.
so it''s finally come to it, at the age of 33 i manage to start seriously concidering learning to drive, i wish i''d learnt years ago, but that''s no help is it? i hope i don''t find excuses between now and September for not doing it, i have a CD-ROM of the theory test so i can start swotting for that now! as it gets nearer the time i shall be getting extremely nervous! but please, whatever i might come up with, don''t let me back out of this!
this is your task Purkles, make me do it!! a car will mean i could find a home i like and maybe even a new job!! the world will be there for the taking but above all i''ll have tohe chace to feel happy about myself, and i''d really like that .
well done if you''ve got to the bottom of this! i''m not going back through it checking for typos so i apologise in advance xd

Wow! Congrats on the decision! We'll help you stick with it! Lots of great life changes are exciting, and especially changes that will get you moving towards things you've wanted for yourself, like independence, change of scenery, and greater self image!

jellysundae i'm wondering how Ebil got on in Sweden, so i thought i'd talk about her as she appeared last time i did that blaugh *peeks in* I haven't been to Sweden yet, going there on Thursday biggrin *is sooo excited* I think I'll go to bed now, I'm so full of cold medicine I barely know what I'm writing xd

Back from Sweden, and Mia won! biggrin So she's now a Grand International Champion heart It was a great trip, but it took almost 12 hours each way so it was really exhausting... Luckily Mia slept the whole time smile
