Akio flinched, but shook his head soon after. He stood up and walked over to Thade, sitting on his knee. "No, I suppose I'm not, because the only one I'm 'smitten' with, is you," he hid his face under his hair, and placed his chin on Thades shoulder, trying to contain a giggle.

Thade turned his head away from Akio. "Akio, we need to talk about this. The you and me...that isn't really a you and me." He sat up and frowned at Akio.

"...What do you mean?" He looked up at Thade, but wrapped his arms around Thades' neck, running his hands through the older boys hair, massaging the scalp.

Thade's body relaxed for a moment and his eyes closed. But as soon as he has released himself, he tensed up equally again, his eyes opening once more. "Listen, whatever this twisted thing we have going on here, it's got to stop. I don't know what you expect of me! I'm not about to be anybody's boyfriend, especially a guy's! I'm not gay," he said shortly and stiffly.

Akio kept his fingers in motion, "You don't have to be gay to have a boyfriend. And it's not 'Some twisted thing.' You could try it out...I mean, it won't hurt anyone, right? Unless you like someone else...?" He shifted his eyes to the floor and let his hands slip out of Thades' hair pathetically.

Thade rolled his eyes because he didn't know what other action he could take. "I'm not doing this to hurt you: I don't like hurting people. I just...I like tits! I'm into girls and you're girlish, but you're not. Nothing you do can make you one. And yeah, of course I like someone else. I like a lot of other people. I'm not great at fidelity and yeah, you gave me some sexual freedom that I had never had before, but emotionally..." he sighed. "I know that I can never feel the same way about you like I could feel about a girl. I'm sorry, Akio. I really am. And I'm sorry for leading you on." He looked at Akio, searching for some emotion. He was going to get slapped, he knew it. Or maybe Akio would beg? He prepared himself.

Akio stared at him blankly. "I see. Well, if that's how you feel I suppose I should respect it, right?" He stood up and walked over to where is books were, and started to stack them.

Thade stood up abruptly and followed Akio. "So...we cool, man?" he asked in a more masculine tone. He held out his hand.

Akio turned around and stared at his hand for a moment. "We're as good as we're ever going to be," he took Thades hand and gave it a quick shake, then pulled his hand back. He could feel his eyes getting watery. Papa would be angry at him.

Thade cocked his head to the side, his expression awkward. "Alright," he said and then he backed a few steps before turning around and walking through the threshold of the common room and out into the hallway.
Anya danced into the common room. "Ah, Potions is so refreshing!" She then noticed Akio and dropped her bags, skipping up to him. "Akio...?" she asked timidly. "What's wrong?"

Akio gave her a quivering smile. "I'm not good enough for Thade. He doesn't feel anything for me, because I don't have tits. It's alright, though. It's not normal to like the same gender. So I guess I'll trying girls. I'm fine," he sat down on the couch and fiddled with some of his rings.

She pounced on him, but her face wasn't the normal happy as always. Anya wrapped her arms around him as well as she could. "He's a jackass. You're worth so much more than he is."

Akio gave her a chaste kiss on the forehead and wrapped and arm around her waste. "You're so sweet. I should find someone like you," he laughed and ruffled her hair.

She shook her head quickly with a smile, her hair flowing around her for a moment before settling wildly on her shoulders. "Well, you my friend need a girl. Or a guy. Or a mermaid for all I care! When was the last time you..." She looked down shyly at where their bodies merged. "You know." She looked up at him with a sweet smile, inquiring.
