Tryan slept like a rock right up untill he started to notice the smell of food. Something like a groan escaped from him as he slowly began to wake and tried to sit up. He was stiff and achy all over and stretched with slow, deliberate movements. Cracks and pops issued from all over his body as he got carefully to his feet and looked about. A shiver ran down his back and he took turns flexing his fingers and toes as though they'd fallen asleep. The leading edges of his wings were just noticeably wider than the day before, enough that the bit of 'wiggle room' between the bracelettes and his 'wrists' that had been there previously, was taken up. It didn't appear to be harming anything though, no signs of compromised circulation or any other damage. He walked stiffly, but in a more normal gait for a land creature as he went to investigate breakfast.

>>Silver jumped at the sudden poping noises and turns around<< Oh. Good morning Tryan. >>She watched him for a few moments<< You seem to be doing better. >>She smiled and set the table back down before taking the pot out of the fire. She dished up two bowls and set them down, setting a spoon by Tryan though she doubted he could use it, before bringing the honey jar and yogurt<<

Tryan sniffed the fork and even tried to chew on it once before quickly giving up. Then he turned his attention to his breakfast. It took him a minute to decide to even try it, and then he just took a big lick of it and gave it a little more time. Finally he decided it was worth eating and started lapping it up as best he could. He would have slurped it except he didn't have lips, so lapping was the best he could manage. Even at that he made a big mess, and struggled to keep the bowl in place. In an attempt to hold it still at one point, he turned it on it's side and held it down by the edge while he struggled to lick the sides.

>>Silver just shook her head at Tryan as she ate. She thought soon Isaac would be doing the same thing as he learned to use his hands and move his fingers. But he was still being fed by his mother now. Not old enough for hard food yet, she did give him some of her porridge. Silver finished after Tryan and set Isaac down on a pillow while she cleaned first Tryan than the table and dishes<<
Was it good? You seemed a little hesitant to try it, but you licked the bowl clean!

Tryan shied away from her, ducking her attempts to get at him with a rag. Porridge smeared his beak and even managed to find it's way onto some of his feathers around the 'hand' he'd used to attempt holding the bowl. Eventually though, she was victorious and managed to get him cleaned up without too much of a fuss from him. Now he sat there watching Silver cleaning up. He tilted his head at her, and then gave her one of his toothy attempts at a smile while giving her the distinct impression that, yes, it was delicious! There were no words to confirm the notion, but it was a strong enough idea to be fairly certain of it, and it obviously wasn't hers.

>>Silver smiled at Tryan's toothy grin then continued cleaning. Then she got a thought that was not her own. She stopped and turned to look at Tryan. It wasn't words like with most telepathics, but it was definitely a thought. And surely not her own. She watched him curiously for a while before speaking<< Is that you? >>She taps her forehead<<

Tryan hadn't looked away from her, but he showed no sign of understanding what she was saying to him either. He did nothing but blink at her at first, then he mimicked her. It took a small fete of balance for him to get his weight off one wing, but when he'd managed to raise that 'hand' without falling over, he pawed at his head in an approximation of a tap.

>>Silver smiled a small smile<< Well I doubt it was Isaac.... Maybe I'm imagining things? >>She sighed and finished her cleaning<< I wish Ontaros were here, he'd be able to talk to you. >>After cleaning Silver picked up Isaac and looked down at Tryan<< Would you like to play with the pups again? I have some work to do about the village I don't think you'll have any fun joining me on.

Tryan stood and looked up at her like a dog waiting excitedly to go for a walk. His tail swished back and forth lazily as he stood by her, but he didn't have the lengthiest of attention spans. Within a few moments he was trotting towards the exit and bounding right out the door without regard for the fact that he couldn't see what might be on the other side of the flap before he made it through.

>>Silver followed behind him, and headed over to the chief's hut since it seemed the children were already headed towards him<< Bird Man! Play with us! What do you play? Yeah! What games do you play?

Tryan turned at the sound of familiar voices and greeted them with a loud squawk. He dropped into a crouch, watching them, waiting for the chasing to start. Who would be 'it' first? He couldn't remember playing before, but the little ones loved to play and since the adults seemed to think it was okay, he wanted to join in again.

I think he wants to play tag again.[/color That's not a new game. Maybe it's the only game he knows. We should play if it will make him happy. >>It was the same cub that took Tryan's hand yesterday. He looked like the smallest one there<< I wanna be it! RAWR! >>She pounced on the nearest cub who giggled and rolled out of the way. The other children scattered<<

Tryan watched them, looking at each one in turn as he or she spoke. It took him a moment to realize they'd started, but once he did, he jumped up and bounded away a few paces. He tracked the cub with his eyes and hurridly jumped up again to skitter away whenever she got too close. Every now and again he ran towards her though, daring her to tag him. He managed to make his getaway every time so far, but sometimes just barely.

Tryan was so totally confused when everyone started chasing each other that he simply sat down in the middle of the throng and watched. Was this a new game? He wasn't sure, he couldn't figure out any rules. He quickly got bored just watching the chasing though, and hopped up again to rejoin the children in the chasing, drawing great enjoyment from 'hiding' behind a clump of tall grass or bush and jumping out to startle them when they passed by. Of course, it was nearly impossible for him to hide behind much of anything, so mostly, he just squated down and waited.
