The battle continues, but with an odd newcomer. The Warlock's magic is blocked, again, by Bellamin and he growls. "BOY, YOU ARE ANNOYING!!!" He screams as he charges to attack Bellamin with his staff. Knight 1's sword glows as he swings at Firu, almost taking Firu off of his feet. Knight 2 spots the newcomer and swings at the mosquito and, somehow, not killing the mosquito that is trying to ram itself into the Warlock, but it's attempts are failures. With the combination of Firu's and Bellamin's attacks and spells, all three enemies lose their glowing aura, but still remain standing.

Stats for mosquito:
Atk:0
Def:0
Combat:0
Life: 40
Magic: 0
Equip:0
Abilities: Fast Actorx3, Speedy Actor, SA: Annoyance Factor(1)
Actions: Stunning Blow, Pounce

Warlock: 20/20 (1 life left)
Ghost Knight 1: 10/10 (1 life left)
Ghost Knight 2: 10/10 (1 life left)
Mosquito: 19/40
Bellamin: 12/20
Firu: 12/30
Damage calculations for Firu's damage: 7-4 (atk-def)+5(combat dice)x2 (successful roll)= 16+7 (smash)=23 damage-5 (regen)=18 damage

Next round, Warlock will use twin blast on Firu and Bellaimn. Ghost Knight 1 will attack Firu again, Ghost knight 2 and warlock are attacking the mosquito. The mosquito will try to use stunning blow twice on the warlock.

(Life total of Bellamin fixed)

[[Taking 3 MP from party pool. Correct me if I already bled the poor thing dry. ^.^;; my math skills seemed to have dropped considerably]]
[[First dice is for combat. Second is for a stun-roll if needed*]]
[[Thank my lucky stars for resistance to attack ^,^]]

Bellamin takes a small oblong stone out of a cloak pocket. Smiling considerably at this new turn of events, he says a silent prayer to whatever observing force sent the mosquitoes.

The spellsword's small stone-like object begins to glow and Bellamin cracks his neck. With one small, easy motion, he throws it down onto the ground and breaks it with the tip of his sword. Large blotches of purple energies start to swirl around the blade like some hyperactive lava-lamp.

Although bleeding rather nastily from the forehead, Bellamin somehow manages to hurl a small throwing knife into the ghostly warlock. The thing buzzes and is stuck inside the warlock's ectoplasmic er... body.

Spinning at top speeds, Bellamin swings into the warlock and smashes the throwing knife out of his body and straight at one of the ghost knights. Although his sword leaves no damage, and the knife simply shatters upon impact on the ghostly body, both Warlock and Knight now had a rather small patch of purple goo orbiting around them.

In a haste, Bellamin drives his blade underneath the body of the other ghostly knight. Although tripping a ghost was rather useless, old habits died hard. He pirouettes up to standing and in mid-air says:

"Hey Firu! End 'em." ((Read: Do something cool and flashy to end the fight, comrade!))

Bellamin completes his erraticly drawn diagram with a messy landing/stomp on the ghost knight's apparent 'foot.'

"Anima Libera~" He mutters with a fake accent which would've made any mage or foreign language scholar foam at the mouth.

The dark purple shadows swirling around his blade evaporate into nothing... But the umbral blobs orbiting the ghosts erupt in a hexagonal flat shape. The words: "Sempre mi illumina" appear in very bad yellow handwriting in the middle of each hexagon before they then explode once more in a violent violet spray of energies.

Attack: Ghost Knight 1
Twinblast: Warlock and Ghost Knight 2
Dice for Offense

((LeSigh. Can't believe my combat-action parts were ever this short.))
[[Okay. Mosquito should hit warlock and that means the end of it for him. Firu, we're counting on you to deal with the knight. And then it'll be done!]]
((*If I can't draw mana.))

Disregard upper RP and Bellamin simply does a run-by slash with an electrofied sword.

Attack: Ghost Knight 1
Stunbolt Warlock [If mosquito fails to stun] or Energy-Blast Ghost Knight 2.
Dice for Offense

(Ok, plan one is in the event that one of my allies stuns the Warlock and the ghost sword dose not do it's massive damage thing this round and is as follows.

Firu focuses his energy causing the air around him to violently swirl and lash outward, a golden glow begins to appear in the air and then it suddenly all of this energy flows into his sword. With his blade now pulsing with power he suddenly vanishes reappearing a moment latter at the side of the ghost knights and with a furious strike obliterates the first knight in a brilliant flash. After the light envelops the first knight it shoots forward plowing into the second knight, leaving only a vanishing shadow in its wake before it all dissipates in powerful lout ward blast.)

Attack: Knight 1 (10)
Combat die: Attack (+7=17)
Action: Chi Cannon knight 2 (10)

(Plan two is in the event that the Warlock is not stund or the ghost sword will do massive damage to me again, and goes like this.

Firu places his sword in its sheath on the back of his shield, then taking a defensive stance he charges forward straight towards the first knight shield first. Smashing into it's oncoming attack then drawing his sword in a fluid slash that rips into the knight chest.)

Attack: Knight 1 (10)
Combat die: Defense (7)
Action: Guard (4x3=12+7=19)

HP: 12 (Before regen)
AP: 4 or 5 depending on outcome
MP: 11

Altered stats:
Att: 10

Do you happen to remember any of the magical components we need to free the girl? Because my memory is rather overtaxed today and cannot remmeber how too type anylongr... emo ]]

(Well lets see, I know we need this dudes blood a small amount of an alcoholic beverage a purple rose and there was one more thing I think. It may have been just a potion, tho I will search the early pages and find the list.) confused

(Ok found it tho I saw that on the first page that Raven, who was with us when we started had two of the items already. I assume they are the Health Potion and alcoholic drink. I wonder if Perrian will still let us count those as being already gathered?

Purple Rose Petal
Health Potion
Cup of an alcoholic drink
A drop of blood from the witch/wizard who cast the curse)

The knight goes after Firu with his sword, but is quickly stopped by the ferocity of Firu's defense of his ability guard, which makes his body undamaged from the attack that took so much strength from the ghost to swing. The warlock charges his fireball, but isn't left alone for a second from the pesky mosquito. Mosquitoes are the most annoying bug on the planet: to ghosts and to humans, and the ghost warlock can certainly agree to that statement. The spell is stopped in its tracks and the warlock growls with anger as he swings his sword at the mosquito and ghost knight 2 does the same. The mosquito falls onto the ground and the warlock steps on the mosquito, squishing it into the ground as a ball of magic comes towards the warlock and his stupid companion of the knight. Both are incinerated and disappear, leaving the urn of blood able to be taken. The ghost knight 1, though, is still alive and is blocking you from getting through. Both of you run attack the ghost knight, and his soul is finally able to rest. His sword and the warlock's staff, though, lays on the ground in front of the table and are yours for the taking.

Bellamin: 12/20
Firu-17/20
Poor mosquito- *squished*
Everyone else- 0/Whatever burning_eyes

Loot

Ghostly Sword (E3)
Roll a die. If the result odd, cut all normal damage caused by one of your attacks in half. If the result is even, double all normal damage caused by one of your attacks. This effect takes place for every attack made by the wielder of this sword.

Ghostly Staff (E6)
Once per combat you may transfer any points in one stat to another excluding life (without dropping that stat to zero). At the end of combat your stats return to normal.

[[Firu, you can have both sword and staff. I really have no use for either of them due to my low base scores and high equip usage. Besides, Bellamins quite paranoid when it comes to undead... Even if they were recently Un-undead-ify-ed.]]

Bellamin actually sniffled.

"It was the bravest mosquito I've ever never known." Suddenly, Bellamin looked overjoyed and slammed his fist into his palm after a lightbult [or torch] lit up above his head.

"I know! I'll make some sort of mechanized mosquito in your honor!" He laughed a bit before turning to the situation at hand.

"Err... Firu? You can have both the staff and the sword for now. I'm a bit overstocked." The spellsword opens up his cloak to reveal a vast assortment of goods; mostly worthless.

"Anywho..." Bellamin picks up the blood and precariously tosses it back and forth between his hands. "Now we need to break into the castle for the violet roses right?"

He looked towards the entrance. Hopefully their boat was still there.

(Well if you don't want either of those items then I will take them.)

Firu collected the ghostly items from the flore then turned to Bellamin. "I wonder where that mosquito came from and why it helped us. But in any event I am glad it showed up when it did."

Turning back twords the entrance, "Now we are back to our earlyer problem of the purple rose, the only place I know to find them are within the palace walls. So we can eithr wait for our apointment or find a way to sneak in there and bolt without being noticed."
PostPosted: Mon Feb 01, 2010 4:51 pm

"The ends do justifiy the cause. I mean, we're not killing anything but mabye a flower or two underfoot right? Lets go in. We can get some rope, some grappling hooks, a seige tower..."

Bellamin started to get more and more 'beseige the castle' talk going then what was plausible. The spellsword yawned before checking to see if the boat was still there or not. "We can always hire a thief to do the job for us. Stimulate the economy and stick it to those guards."

"You make a good point. About the no harm in sneaking in not the full military asault. We should go scope out the castles layout and see how difficult it would be to get in there and then make our plan."
