"No, they should have been more thankful that we didn't chase their apprentice off our territory." Rocktalon let out a sigh. "I think the apprentices should have some more battle training, with all the worry over food I think some of them may need it. You probably know ThunderClan better than I do, do you think they would try and attack us over all of this?"

Amberkit peered out of the kit's den apprehensively.
Well, what are you waiting for, Amberkit? Go on! Her brother, Copperkit replied nudgeing her out the door with his nose.
B-but brother! Can't you go first?
Copperkit sighed and finally shoved his little sister out of the den. She let out a mew of surprise and turned to run back into the den, but Copperkit stood in the entryway.
Seriously, Amberkit, you can't expect to be a warrior if your too afraid to even step out of the den for the first time.
Copperkit! Thats not fair... You know its my first time coming out of the den. She mumbled.
Fine, whatever. Copperkit grumbled. I'll show you around camp then.

Darkfoot hesitated. "I'm not..sure. I guess it depends how much they want their apprentice back, if they think that we really hid her and are using her for information, and how long that don't have her." She gave a small chuckle. "But I don't know ThunderClan all that well. If we had a WindCaln apprentice, yes, but not a ThunderClan apprentice. My sister told me enough about WindClan."

Batfur heard what Rocktalon and Darkfoot were talking about and stepped in.
"If you don't mind me saying," he said, dipping his head to both the she-cats, "we don't have enough prey to spare the apprentices of their hunting duties. We will starve with out the food they bring in. Perhaps we could create a training system where every warrior trains and hunts. Even if they don't have an apprentice, they could be training a cat while the mentor is out hunting or...something to that affect." He looked down at the ground. "It's a weird idea, but if ThunderClan attacks...I don't want to die."

Dawnflower sighed and rose to her paws. "Kits, I can't let you wander around." she mewed, picking them both up by the scruff of their necks. "We have a sick cat in camp, and I can't risk getting you two ill as well." she dropped them in the nursery and began to groom their pelts. She shivered at the thought of starting a war. Not with her newborn kits here, not now. She glanced over to Mistycloud. She would be expecting kits soon, a battle would bring nothing but bad news.

Wildpelt opened her eyes and rose from her den. She couldn't sleep, and was starting to get agitated. She headed over to the fresh-kill pile and found only a few scrawny peices of prey.
Better save those for queens and elders... she thought, although her belly growled in protest.

Darkfoot's face grew hard. "Why does Greystar have to be going to the Moonpool now?" She growled. She turned to Batfur and Rocktalon. "True. No warrior shouldn't be hunting or training their apprentices." She glanced towards her herbs, her tail flicking anxiously.

Skyclaw touched his nose to Mistycloud's cheek. "I'll see you later." He mewed.
Mistycloud nodded and curled her self comfortably in her nest.
Skyclaw padded out of the nursery and back into the cold clearing. He shook himself and headed for the warriors den. He was tired and cold, all he wanted to do was curl up and sleep.

Foxpaw walked up beside Darkfoot "I can go colect herbs while you look for that apprintice." he sugested.

Darkfoot shook her head. "I can't find her. We have all the herbs, Foxpaw." She mewed icily, and flicked her tail. "I might send you to go hunting, anyway. Medicine cats don't usually do that, but a lot of warriors rwill be training their apprentices, and we need fresh-kill anyways."

Rocktalon dipped her head and left once. It had been a very long day and she decided some sleep would do her some good. She padded into the warrior
s den and curled up where she normally slept.

Copperkit trided wriggleing away as Dawnflower groomed him. He was one kitten who thought of himself older than he actually was or was ready for.
Copperkit! Sit still. You know you don't groom yourself very well. Amberkit scolded. This was one of the only things she felt like she had a power over him in. After all she was a quiet and timid kit.
Copperkit stuck his tounge out at his little sister and settled down in his mothers paws, letting her ruff tounge muss his fur.
Well, the sooner I can get out of here the better. Just you wait! I'm gonna be the strongest warrior in Shadowclan! He muttered as Dawnflower finished grooming him and moved onto Amberkit, who was enjoying her turn thoughly.

Deserttail walked into the camp with a plump frog in her jaws. She dropped it on the fresh-kill pile and padded into the warrior's den. Hmm. Rocktalon's asleep...I had better be quiet... She tried very carefully to back out of the den without waking the formidable warrior up.

Dawnflower watched with amusment as her son rambled on about becoming a warrior. "Hush," she whispered, slapping her tail over his muzzle. "You wouldn't want to wake Mistycloud, would you?" she asked, and continued to groom her well-behaved daughter.
