Akira emerged from a crevice where the pillar that hit him was, with a few singe marks, . He was no longer wearing any of his weights having apparently taken off the last weights inside the pillar. He made some handsigns in preparation for a counter assault. We have the advantage of numbers. I'm sure we can win. Even such a flashy jutsu as this would be taxing. All we have to do is kick his a**. Think of it like go, we just have to force his action...I got it a sacrificial stone. If I become the sacrificial stone the other two can take advantage.

Taking the damage head on both Tyson and Aca can go for a straight on counter attack using the pillar as cover. But you'd miss an opportunity to look all badass jumping on the floating platforms, of course if you get a 10 I suppose you could still do Option C just without taking the 5 elemental damage..

After a tiring battle Squad 02 made their way into the cave. The path split three ways where they each met separate resistance. Pushed to their limits Zanzu, Tyson, and Akira made it into view of the ojou only to find that the one pulling the strings was the man in charge of the caravan. As it turns out the original caravan leader had been killed a day before setting out on the trail and was replaced by a member of a group of shinobi known as the order of the kunai. They had expertly made the trio believe the akatsuki were the perpetrators of the kidnapping. And as exhausted as team 02 was they were easily bested in battle but their lives were spared as they were allowed to watch the ceremony. They sacrificed the girl to transfer over a special chakra ability that flowed through her veins into a sword. With a single swipe of the blade Akira and Zanzu were knocked unconscious, it seems whatever the goal is it involves jinchuriki in some way. And yet the kidnappers left with no trouble whatsoever. Leaving team 02 to explain what occurred to the Hidden Sand. Outraged at his daughter's death the Daimyo has ordered for the trio to be put to death for failure. But they had escaped in the middle of the night expecting such a result. Upon returning to Konoha Akira had already sent Zanzu and Tyson notice, that squad 02 will not be undergoing any missions until they finish a training session. As such you are to meet up in two days at the training area.

Yes for this amount of time you'd figure I'd give a better reward but then I got to thinking as the next few missions are training not necessary.

Zanzu began to slowly walk up on the area, his limbs bandaged as well parts of his body, a large bandage over his right cheek covering a cut he had received in the battle, his body showing the tolls taken on it for the teams failure. "s**t man..I've screwed up in my life quite a few times but that was ridiculous, i can't believe how easily he handled us."

"Considering how much luck was fighting against us i'm just happy to have made it out of that mission alive, let alone in one piece..failing it miserably is an understatement." Zanzu groaned slightly to himself, having moved a little to fast from being worked up he felt a sharp pain shooting through his side.
