Zero: *His jutsu had powered up, Zero then took control of the wind flow in the area*

Thanks Wolf, now let's see what I can do, KYATTSUGAN!

*Zero activated his Kekkai Genkai: Kyattsugan. (Bloodline Trait: The Cat's Keen Eye) His eyes started to change. The iris' of his eyes changed colors to light blue. His pupils changed to the shape of a cat's pupils and changed color to dark blue. This change allows Zero to see spiritual energy, thus giving him the ability to see all the energy in the wind around them. He then focused his eyes on Madame X's suit*

Zero: Just as I thought, it's completely mechanical. I don't see any spiritual energy within it, this might be tricky.

Madame X: Okay, just what do you think your doing!?

Zero: Allow me to explain, see I now control the wind in this area, and I can bend it to my will. I could use it to strike, change the weather, etc. Thus this area is now my playing field, and I can call the shots.

Madame X: That's impossible! You can't control the....*her cheek is cut by a passing wind*

Zero: You see, I do have control of the wind. Now I'll only say this once, leave us alone or your cheek won't be the only thing wounded!

Mistro: Ah I see now, that's what the wind was for.

Wolf: Oh come ON! How can you understand what he's talking about?

Mistro: Wolf, it's easy! He uses his energy to control the wind and his eyes to see the energy, he uses two techniques together for this strategy.

Wolf: So i guess that means he wins, huh?

Mistro: not necessarily

Wolf: Huh?

Mistro: He's probably expelling a lot of energy in order to use two techniques at once. It probably is causing him great strain, so he can only keep this up for a short time.

Wolf: Well, let's just hope he gets rid of her, I don't like that crazy lady too much.

Zero: *he pondered as to what had just happened* Where did that wind come from from? That wasn't mine, then who was it? Is there another wind user around? *looks down noticing Lynn and smiles* Well, at least you guys are all safe ^^

Degona: *walks over to Zero, in an angry mood*

Zero: Oh, sorry about that Degona, guess i got carried aw*Zero was punched in the face by Degona*

Degona: I SAID THIS WAS MY FIGHT! YOU HAD NO RIGHT GETTING INVOLVED!!!

Zero: *gets up* Believe what you want but I'm here to protect, if getting you pissed at me is required to protect you, then so be it!

Degona: JUST GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!! NO ONE WANTS YOUR LOUSY HELP!!!

Danielle: DEGONA! That's enough! Leave Zero alone!

Wolf: If anything you should be thanking him for saving your sorry butt!!!

Degona: DON'T LECTURE ME FURBALL!!!

Danielle: Enough! We're wasting my precious time arguing about nothing!

Zero: Well, maybe she's right, maybe I should leave........But I can't, I don't have a home anymore. ^^

Desi: -laying on the bed quietly-

Eli: -hovering over you, watching you sleep-

Desi: -whimpers softly shaking a little-

Eli: -sighs- I thought she'd finally calmed down. -rubs your back lightly as she sleeps-

Desi: -shivers softly- No....stay out....

Eli: Stay....out?

Desi: -curls up tightly holding head, still asleep- Stay out. Leave me alone.

Eli: Destiny, it's just a bad dream.

Destiny: -shakes again curled up tightly trying to force Danneh out of her mind-

Eli: -sighs heavily, fingers lightly running through your hair-

Destiny: -slowly starts to wake up-

Eli: Morning.

Desi: -stares at him blinking a little in confusion from just waking up after another restless night-

Eli: Are you hungry?

Desi: -shakes head- I couldn't eat anyways...

Eli: Why not?

Desi: I just can't.

Eli: I've seen you eat before. And you haven't eaten the whole time we've been together. Please eat something?

Desi: I don't need to.

Eli: -blinks- You don't....need to?

Desi: I don't feel like it

Eli: Destiny, you're human. Every human needs to eat or they die. With the only exception being me...and probably Degona. But I eat because I like food.

Desi: I don't care. I have other things to worry about.

Eli: -deadpanned- Like running away.

Desi: -looks away- At least it works.....

Eli: It doesn't work. It just postpones things. And then they come back to haunt you when there's no where else to run.

Desi: -softly- You can always run.

Eli: And then you leave people behind that would have meant something to you otherwise.

Desi: It doesn't mean they don't mean anything

Eli: And how are they supposed to know that when you run away from them?

Desi: -bites lip- It's better that they don't know.

Eli: It's better they feel rejected than cared about?

Desi: It's better that they don't get involved at all.

Eli: Destiny, you influence people whether you mean to or not. Life is all about interaction with others, it's inevitable.

Desi: Things are still better when I'm not around.

Eli: Are things better for you when they're not around?

Desi: It's better for them.

Eli: But why can't you come to a compromise? Do something that's good for you and them at the same time.

Desi: I'm doing what I can, to protect them.

Eli: And I'm doing what I can to protect you from being lonely.

Desi: -softly- I'm not lonely...

Eli: -smiles and stares at her knowingly-

Desi: -stares back at him strangely-

Eli: If not lonely, then I'm protecting you from being miserable.

Desi: -looks away- No one can keep me from that.

Eli: No one? You looked rather happy with your friends before all this started.

Desi: Nothing can undo -suddenly screams grabbing her head-

Eli: -sits up in shock- Destiny!

Desi: -screaming and shaking- Stop! Get out!!!

Eli: -leans over, embracing her and holding her against him as she shakes-

Desi: -whimpers crying helplessly- Leave me alone! Get out....

Eli: -holds you tightly, waiting for it to be over-

Desi: -whimpers- Make him stop....

Eli: I'm sorry, Destiny, I can't. I don't have that power. But I'm here, you're not alone. You won't get through this by yourself.

Desi: -whimpers helplessly-

Eli: -rubs her back soothingly, still hugging you-

Desi: -clings tightly to him hoping it will work-

Eli: -moves to sit on the edge of the bed, still holding her in his arms- You're not alone. And he can't truly get to you while you're with me. I'll keep you safe.

Desi: -screaming inside her mind- Leave me alone!!!

Danneh: -snickers- Leave you alone? I can't really do that when you're with him. Maybe if you went somewhere private...

Desi: -whimpers trying to move back from him- No, go away!

Danneh: Then tell me who he is. Let me get him out of your hair for you.

Desi: -stares wide-eyed in surprise trying her best to keep him away- Why do you want to know?

Danneh: He intrigues me. He's obviously someone with power, but there's no record of him.

Desi: -stumbles while trying to move back from him- And why do you care that much?

Danneh: He bothers you, that's enough reason to dislike him.

Desi: He's the less of two evils compared to you.

Danneh: -smirks- Just another reason to dislike him.

Desi: -shifts uneasily-

Danneh: -slides closer- Let me get rid of him for you.

Desi: -backing up again- Why?

Danneh: Because you dislike him, I dislike him. Everyone gets what they want.

Desi: Why does it mean so much to you though>

Danneh: Because I'm the only one you're allowed to get that close to. He doesn't have permission to hug you like that.

Desi: -looks away angrily- You don't have the power or right to make that decision.

Danneh: Oh, I definitely have the power. As for the right, that can come later.

Desi: NO!

Danneh: -smirks- Protectively of him, are we?

Desi: -bites lip looking away-

Danneh: It doesn't matter. I have other means of finding out. I'll have information soon.

Desi: S...stay away from me!

Danneh: -looks amused- Testy. When I wasn't even talking about you.

Desi: I don't care. I want you leave us alone!

Danneh: -frowns, eyes glinting dangerously before turning around and walking away- I will come for you both. You can't run from me forever. Not with him as extra baggage.

Desi: -eyes widen in horror- No!!! I'll...I'll keep running so you can't find me!

Danneh: -walking away confidently- You do that, Destiny. That's much easier than letting your friends interfere.

Desi: -looks down- Leave them alone. They didn't do anything to you...

Danneh: Come and be with me and I will.

Desi: -blinks slowly starting to move towards him unaware-

Danneh: -glances back at her when he doesn't receive an answer-

Desi: -suddenly stops in place shaking her head, panicked- No!

Danneh: Then you leave me no choice. -continues walking away-

Desi: -eyes widen in horror- What does that mean?!

Danneh: If you don't come willingly, I'll have to hurt your friends. Because they'll get in the way.

Desi: No....

Danneh: Think on that. And I'll see you again soon. -disappears-

Desi: -crumbles to the floor in horror-

Eli: -still holding her tightly in the real world all this time-

Desi: -back in the real stil crying in horror-

Eli: -rubbing her back, waiting it out-

Desi: -panicked and horrified- He's going after them!!

Eli: Does that mean you want to go back?

Desi: -shakes head- I can't. I have to keep running...

Eli: -frowns- You won't even try to warn them?

Desi: -bites lip- I can't.....

Eli: Because?

Desi: -looks away tears still in eyes- I just can't...

Eli: -shakes his head, sighing- It's your choice.

Desi: I can't.... I just can't. -pulls knees up to face and starts crying helplessly-

Eli: Don't cry. I'm not judging you.

Desi: I can't do anything. I can't help myself, much less anyone else.

Eli: Then let other people help you from time to time. Like I am.

Desi: -shakes head- No! I can't let anyone else get involved. They'll only suffer worse.

Eli: Then it's just you and me.

Desi: You shouldn't even be here either.....

Eli: -groans- I thought you were past pushing me away.

Desi: -barely glances up- You're only putting yourself in danger you know. He will kill you.

Eli: He can't, though. I can't die until it's my time to.

Desi: -pauses- He's after you now too. You've become another target.

Eli: -shrugs- Okay.

Desi: -glances up- That's all you can say?

Eli: What else is there to say? I'm a target. Okay. It doesn't dissuade me from doing what I need to and know is right.

Desi: -quietly- Even though you're just endangering yourself?

Eli: If I leave, I'd just be endangering you. He's after you, too. Better for us to be together than apart.

Desi: I don't understand. Why are you still here risking yourself when you don't need to? If you weren't with me he'd never had a reason for going after you.

Eli: But if I weren't with you, you wouldn't have a reason to stop running away.

Desi: -sighs- I don't understand any of this.

Eli: -smiles- That's okay. I get that a lot.

Desi: -shakes head- What are you anywyas?

Eli: -stares- I keep answering that question with the same exact answer. I'm human.

Desi: Then why.....aren't you like other humans?

Eli: ...That's complicated.

Desi: What do you mean by that?

Eli: I'm not really allowed to say why I'm different.

Desi: -huffs in annoyance- And why not?!

Eli: .....Because there will be consequences by certain individuals even higher up in power than the Observants?

Zero: Alright Then,

*Zero made some hand seals and activated a small genjutsu (illusion techniquie)*

Zero: There! We're protect by a veil of illusion, technology might detect us but because it requires user interface, the people running it will be trapped in the illusion before they can track us. However, this won't hold up forever, so we need to plan our next course of action.

Danielle: Alright then let's think up a plan!

Wolf: Didn't he just say that? -_-;;

Maestro: Well, I guess there's not much else we can do, Degona is in a state of shock and she's our way out of here

Zero: *kneels down near Degona* Hey, how you holdin' up?

Degona:.........

Zero: Well, it's true that was can't do anything till Degona's back in working order. While we wait for her to calm down, we should discuss what happened. My first question is how did this Madame X lady find us?

Wolf: Well we do tend to draw attention to ourselves, I mean we don't try very hard to conceal ourselves.

Zero: ........"A shinobi is like a shadow in the night, unseen by the naked eye......." Sorry, I was quoting something from the "Tome of the Ninja". Basically what it means is we've got to find a way to conceal ourselves that allows us to be in plane sight without getting noticed. My illusions can do that, but only last for a certain amount of time, not only that, they require me to expel energy every time I cast one, mind you it's not that much but using the same technique 6 or 7 times gets tiring.

Maestro: So what your suggesting is we need a way to conceal ourselves where we can't be seen in plane sight. As well as it needs to be constant and require very little energy?

Zero: Precisely! However our enemies also have technology to aid them which gives us a bigger disadvantage. It's possible that even the skills that Dan and I posses would still be detected by their technology, thus why we need to find a way where we can conceal ourselves in plane sight, use as little energy as possible and also be able to bypass any technological advantage the enemy has. It's not an easy feat and it requires something unexpected, however they aren't unbeatable. As we saw today we had no problem handling them, but we can't fight more enemies like Madame X constantly or all at once, we'd just end up defeat. So not only do we need a plan to conceal ourselves, we also need a plan to take out any enemies quickly and with minimal effort.

Everyone: *looks confused*

Zero: *sigh*, Yeah I have a tendency to over explain things, sorry. ^^;;

Sam, Valerie, and Jazz return from, well whatever they were doing because I'm too lazy to go back and look, so deal with it! Anyways looking very bedraggled and worn out.

Valerie: -flops down on a chair- Uhh, I don't know how much longer I can keep this up for. What's the deal anyways? I thought we were supposed to be better and unstoppable now?

Jazz: Well, we are. But you also have to take into consideration that we're under the influence of powers we have no experience with, that has changed our entire molecular makeup and such. Therefore, although it's given us amazing abilities, and I have to say, such really cool powers!. It's also taking a toll on our very-

Sam: Jazz, just shut for once. -Jazz sits back and pouts-

Valerie: I should have be-- Wait, is that music I hear?

Sam: Why the heck would Delano be..... -cringes at a loud screech and then the music stops followed by a loud bang and yelling-

Valerie: We better get in there. -the 3 go running down a side hall and into a large room and freeze in surprise at the sight before them- What in the....

Delano: -face palms- I can't believe I actually thought this would work.

Sapphire: I told you that wouldn't work!!! It doesn't sound right at all!

Ember: What the hell would you know about music?!?!

Desiree: I thought we all had already picked a song-

Ember/Sapphire: STAY OUT OF THIS!!!

Sapphire: Mind your own business and stay quiet in the corner like you're supposed to be!

Ember: Yeah, ya two-bit hussy! Your time for influence has passed! So just sit there, looking out of place like usual.

Desiree: -eye twitches- Excuse me? -growls and grows huge, towering over them with dramatic lightning in the background- NO ONE INSULTS ME!!! -both girls cower clinging to each other in terror-

Delano: -groans- I think I'm the one that needs the miracle...

Valerie: Or some better inspiration.

Fright Knight: -pops in holding up DVDs- Well, I just happen to have some of the world's most beloved broadway musical-inspired movies to date!

Delano: -sighs and zaps him without even moving- I didn't need to hear that.

[the group seems to be wandering aimlessly, strangely through a desert]

Wolf: Mistro? Remind me...

Mistro: Yeeeeees?

Wolf: How long have we been wondering?

Mistro: Hmm...64 days I'd say...

Wolf: And what have we accomplished?

Mistro: Well...we've obtained Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, a Black Knight's helmet, a Les Paul Guitar, an orange armband with "SOS" and some japanese on it, and a fairly detailed Yaoi fanfic of you and Eli,...but our main objective remains missing...

Wolf: Well this is ju-wait what was that last one?

[the others seem far ahead of the duo]

Degona: Will you two quit yapping and move it!?

[both sigh and try to catch up with the group]

Mistro: Last I remembered, didn't you master inter-dimensional travel a couple years back...

Wolf: First off, that was the same year I died about 4 times. I was rather crazy back then.

Mistro: Oh...hehe...right...fun times...

Wolf: Second, I doubt they'd consider any suggestion I make...

Mistro: It never hurts to try...

Wolf: *points toward Degona & Danielle* You wanna try?

Mistro: Point taken...

(So, in an effort to get to the big plot, and hurry things along, I am just gonna post some stuff to lead up to it. And then hopefully after it's all done, ppl will actually post and do something.)

-Group is sleeping for the night, which they've only actually done like once or twice since the entire adventure started, well all except Dan-

Dan: -outside the group's camp, working hard on setting traps up- I am so SICK of the bad....er guys always getting the one-up on us and striking when we least expect it!

Wolf: -from inside his tent, thoughtfully- How can they strike when we least expect it, if we're ALWAYS expecting it?

Dan: -stands back to admire his work- There. Now we'll get any baddies before they reach us. -satisfied with his plan heads back to his tent-

Everyone: -sleeping until a loud cry is heard and an alarm goes off-

Tech: -sleepily- No, no that's not the self-destruct button. It just needs some more work.....

Degona: ....I can't belive that actaully worked....But now I GET TO KILL SOMETHING!!

Danrei: Wait, it might be ND-chan!

Mistro: He probably just caught his own shadow.

Danielle: -flips hair back- Well, I wouldn't be caught in something so obvious and cheap.

Layla: Uh, how about we go check it out?

*cricket cricket*

Layla: Well, whose going?

Tucker: -to Dan- It was YOUR trap.

Zero: Perhaps I should-

Dan: Yes, yes! What an excellent idea. We should send the ninja! He can take care of it.

Degona: Unless this is all just part of their plan together! -stares suspisciously at Zero- Like spies would do.

Lynn: Mine.

Dan: Why, Lynn, I'm flattered that- -gets slapped- AH! Now that was just uncalled for. -sees everyone staring at him- What?

Everyone: GO!

Dan: -groans, but goes out as everyone stands at the opening and watches; dramatically- Ah ha you evil fiend! Now I have you exactly where I......
Wolf: Let me guess....a squirrel?

Dan: -shifty eyes- No, of course not.... -squirrel suddenly springs at his face- A RABID SQUIRREL! AHHHH!!!

Desi: -starting to have very confused views about Eli, who has done everything he can to keep Danneh from her and when he fails, keeps sprinting her away from him; still not to eager to trust or listen to him-

Eli: -is about at wit's end trying to work with her- Can you be anymore jumpy or untrustworthy? You're like a stalked gazelle in the Serengeti.

Desi: -glares darkly at him- You wouldn't have that issue if you'd just....go away! -flinches as soon as he moves even though he's nowhere near touching her-

Eli: See? Then again antelope hardly have any teeth or fangs, and probably none of that rage. -sighs and looks up- Does this EVER end? What more must I do? -looks back at her- Look, Destiny, all you're doing is getting yourself worked up and hurting yourself in the process. Enough of this "lone wolf" outlook. It doesn't work for Degona, and it won't work for you. And both of you have the same view, which doesn't get either of you ANYWHERE. Trying my best to not sound cliched here, but there is strength in numbers. And there is strength and an even stronger bond between you girls. Maybe you don't realize this, but those girls....ALL of them are worried sick about you, and what you might be going through. And, do you really think they're all just gonna be satisfied with the fact that maybe they won't be "targets" anymore? That they'll just start enjoying life and trying to forget you? You and I both know exactly what they're doing. And I don't need my....abilities to show me that. -stares at her criticially- Even the antelope travel in numbers, all the while knowing they are all targets. Hiding out isn't going to get you anywhere. Just.....try and leave the past behind.......and start new if you want. Think of where you belong, and who you should be with. And please......just once, accept the help you're offered. -holds hand out to her-

Desi: -immediately jerks away, then bites lip thoughtfully-

Madame X: I believe we may have some useful sources. I might even call up a friend or two for any information they have. For now I'm retreating back. It's obvious we don't have enough material to succeed. But, don't worry, Degona. I WILL be back. And you WILL be coming with me....
