He let out a sigh and just let his father hold him. He still wasn't too happy about the situation, but it wasn't like he could do anything.

he walked back to the others and then smiled at raine and garreth. "how's it coming?" raine got up and showed him her card. "mines done. you think she'll like it?" smash looked it over and nodded. "yes. she going to love this. thank you raine."

Garreth got up and handed his and Cyan's card to Smash. Cyan was still being held by Smash and had his head resting on his shoulder.

he looked over both thier cards and smiled even more. "very nice. mommy is going to be so happy when she sees these."

Cyan and Garreth both smiled at his words. Garreth then sat down on the couch and was getting bored.

he put cyan down and looked at his watch. it been a while since he last checked on mari. he figured he should go see how's she doing. "i'm going to check on mommy. i'll let you come in to give her your cards in a bit. how does that sound?" raine nodded and smiled at him. "ok daddy."

he smiled then walked into the kitchen first looking for the medicine for colds. he brought it up to their room and set it on the table. he crouched down next to mari and started to rub her head gentily, to wake her up. "hey hun. how you doing?"

Mari woke up slowly and still wasn't feeling well. She had a headache, but gave him a small smile. "Not any better..."

he leaned in and kissed her forehead then smiled a bit to her. "i brought you some medicine. you should sit up so you can take it."

She sat up and let out a sigh. "Are they pills?" She sniffed a bit and looked around for some tissues so she could have them handy.

he nodded and handed her some pills with a glass of water. "it's cold medicine. supposed to be good for head colds."

Mari took the pills and put them in her mouth. She then took a drink of water and tilted her head back to swallow them. Once she did, she took another drink of the water because her throat was dry. "Thank you, love. How are the kids doing?" She took another drink of the water.

he sat on the bed and smiled tah er. "they're doing good. they actually made something for you and really want to give it to you."
