Cody felt the vibration in his pocket and brought out his TADS again.
Well tell Corphish that it's time to run, then come catch up to me.

Cody looked back and saw Reaper running with Corphish. Totodile looked back as well. "Don't get distracted. Keep up your current pace." he told Totodile. Cyndaquil, Chikorita, Treecko, and Plusle all appeared next at Cody's side and started running with him. If they could keep up, today would be a good day.

"I know how you feel. Totodile and Plusle are the only ones who have ever exercised with me. I'm interested to see how everyone else holds up." Cody said and looked over at Reaper as he continued to run.

"Yeah, amazingly," Cody said, suprised. "I want to have my pokemon battle against each other when we get back." Cody kept running with his pokemon.

"Where did all these pokemon come from? I want to battle so bad, but this isn't a training mission." Cody said as he looked at a Vulpix and a Growlithe running next to him.

"Yeah, so do I, but you gotta resist the urge. You don't want to get in trouble right?" Cody was trying to convince him that now was not the time to do anything stupid. "Just keep running. That is what we came out here to do, right?" They were almost back to the forest where they started. Cody's pokemon seemed to be holding up fine, but he finally realized Flareon hadn't been with them the whole time.
They arrived back at the forest, around the same area in which they had started. Cody took Flareon's pokeball and held it in front of him. He was hoping she would appear. She didn't. Cody started to walk around, looking for her, but realized where she was. "Plusle, take this pokeball, go back to HQ and return Flareon please. Then come straight back here." Plusle nodded and took off in the direction of the secret entrance to HQ.
